I have been prescribed piriton tablets for allergy, and they seem to be working. My only concern is that I have been droswy, sleepy and generally not quite myself since taking the piriton. Are these normal side effects of piriton? When should I call the doctor about this? What are your thoughts?
Calling the doctor about the side effects which piriton is causing you can never do you any harm of course. If at any point you are really concerned, I would definitely call the doctor. However, drowziness and fatigues, as well as lack of concentration, are all side effects that do strike some piriton users. They should subside in a few days.
