I have sleep apnea. I suffer from hypopneas, where my breathing slows down until I stop breathing. I was given the CPAP machine to use while sleeping and was promised restful sleep. But I wake up every day feeling sleepy still. My neurologist says I can stop using it, but it scares me to think that my oxygen level will be dropping during the night if I don't use it. Is this a wise decision? Thanks.
