Once I starte mastyrbating I've been noticing that my groin area has a smell now. Not a bad smell, it actually smells kind of good, and when I rub my ballsack I can smell it on my hand. Is this normal?
Yeh, just sounds like your sweating. Maybe take a shower and it should go away.
I'm assuming you pretty recently started puberty...and this is just another part of puberty...increased activity in sweat glands...and more smell. Hence the reason you have to probably use deodorant now...but didn't before puberty. Just make sure you concentrate on washing that area really good.
