Hey,

I used the search function for similar topics, but none of them really had any solid answers. My problem is that for the past month or so, my erection hasn't been as hard as it is supposed to be. I can still achieve an erection, but only at bout 80% strength of how it used to be. The only explanation I can think of is over-masturbation. I didn't start thinking about the problem until I actually noticed it slowly over time. I have no idea what the problem could be. I'm a pretty healthy person overall, so whats the problem!

It could be over-masturbation. Everyone is different, and it may be that this is your body is saying that it's too much. However you haven't said what you mean by "over-masturbation". How often do you masturbate? I suggest you stop for a few days and then see if the strength returns. If it doesn't, then see your doctor in case there is a sinister reason.

But I can understand why you were looking for "solid answers"

hope this helps.

Thanks for the reply. By overmasturbation, I mean masturbating once everyday, for like 6 months in a row. I missed a day or two sometimes, but I masturbated almost everyday. I also stopped for 1 week, but the problem still persisted. Do you think I should see a doctor or urologist, or should I just wait like 2-3 weeks without masturbation and go from there.

I would not consider generally that masturbating once everyday would come in the category of 'over-masturbation', and as you have tried abstaining for a week with no improvement I think seeing a doctor or urologist would be a good idea. You could try abstaining for 2 or 3 weeks to see if it does improve, but I think having a system-check would be a good idea anyway.
