Hello, and thank you for reading this.I turned 18 last month, and for the past year I've been having issues getting and maintaining a steady "hard" erection. This did not concern me much, as I assumed it was due to the growing monotony of masturbation; from the age of 13, I performed the act ranging from 3-4 days a week to every day. However I have recently found myself in a relationship, and at a point last week my girlfriend attempted to give me a hand job. I was embarrassed to find that the problem was not masturbation-related (or at least not unique to my own attempts at stimulation). As the issue has come to mind, I cannot remember a single time in recent memory that I have had a full bodied erection. I am physically healthy, and maintain an average diet, eating everything from salads to ice cream, yet am still concerned that the issue may be related to my physical health. My girlfriend is very self-conscious and I'm afraid of offending her by what she perceives as a lack of arousal, and I myself want to ensure that I will be able to have a healthy sex-life now and in the future. Should I schedule an appointment with a doctor, or are there home-solutions to my current problem.
Reassure your girlfriend it is nothing to do with her and your have always been like it as long as you can remember then i would in to see the doctor and get it checked out
