I am 44 years old and married. I get hard during intercourse but become soft shortly after, even before my I penetrate her.

What do I do?
A weak erection occurs when there’s insufficient blood flow to the penis or when the penile tissues can’t hold the blood. There are a few possible causes that can cause such disorder. Some of them include smoking, diet high in fat, recent studies even show that it could be due to heart problems and problems with the arteries, venous leaking, etc
Sometimes it is just sexual exhaustion. After having too many ejaculations, your body just needs time to reenergize.
Certain medications like antidepressants could lead to low libido as well as weak erections, marijuana can do that as well, etc
Loss of interest in the particular partner, relationship problems, problems at work, stress are physiological causes of weak erections.
If you happen to believe it is a physical problem, there is nothing wrong in seeing a doctor about it. The sooner you seek help, the better. It may not resolve on its own.
