Hi
I am 43 year old female, I am having a MRI scan tomorrow and the reason is that I have got back pains that are constantly present to a greater or lesser degree.
The possible reasons are all above - this is what the specialist is looking for when I have the MRI scan.
I am worried that there will be a massive change in mmy lifestyle if I am confirmed as having one of these conditions.
I work full time, out of the house 12 hours a day - travel about 40k miles per annum. Driving aggravates my back pain. Is there anyone that can advise about getting more comfortable driving?
I have a busy family with 3 teenagers all doing sports, needing to be places and requiring my presence to support them in what they do...
I have been told I need a personal fitness coach specialising in safe flexing and toning to strengthen my back and prevent more pain. Is anyone having this at the moment. There was the suggestion that Hydrotherapy and electrothyerapy may help too.. again - what is this and how does it help - what time does it take to have sessions?
What about employment rights - do UK companies recognise these conditions as disabilities? Any advice?
I am confused and a bit worried - not sure what to expect - any advice?
Jules

hi
You may have simple wear + tear Osteoarthritis , and if its your back , it may hurt bigtime-serious.
First , get your Doc to refer you to a Rheumatologist . Second , wear your bathing suit , under your workclothes. This way, it becomes a lifestyle-but associate it with HOT PLEASURE.Third , sign up with your county Recreation Center-its cheap !
