i started my new pack of birth control 2 days after the last day of my period. i used condoms for the first 2weeks just to be on the safe side. (also it is a high dose estrogen pill - necon) well today i believe i will be taking my 3rd inactive pill and still I haven't started my period. now i don't know if this is because i started 2 days late to begin with or what? also I've been under alot of stress the past 2 weeks dealing with death in my family and taking on alot of problems. i'm hoping that maybe thats the cause of the disruption in my usual period. I'm usually never late, ONLY once a few months ago (2 weeks late) and i went into sheer panic!! should I have anything to be worried about now?

You are well protected since you did use back-up for 2 weeks after the mishap! You technically only need one week, so you were very careful.
MOST likely, this is due to the mishap..
You could take a preganncy test to ease your fears though.
