Hi Jen,
Sorry about the miscarriage.
hCG levels can take some time to drop. Your doctor should be monitoring the levels to see if they are falling.
It is unlikely they missed anything with a D&C. You have been back for the follow up, correct?

No not been back for a follow up.Had a missed misscarriage in april aswell and had to have a dnc then and had to do a routine pregnancy test two weeks after which was negative but since april they have changed it and just send you on your way.4 weeks yesterday my hcg was at 507 before they did the dnc and that was only to remove a tiny bit that was left over as the mifepristone didnt remove all the foetus. So what i dont get is why i still have so much hcg do you think it could be a new pregnancy as ive had unprotected sex thanks for your reply x
Without following the progression of the drop in hCG we can't know for sure if it is a new pregnancy. It's possible.
Your doctor would be the best resource.
Hope it helps.

Well i will know for sure tommorow when i go back for another hcg test whether it has gone up or down. Thanks very much for your help x
I don't know if this helps or not but 106 would be in the range of 4 weeks pregnant.
Without more data, we can't be sure of anything though.
Good luck. Keep us posted.
