I think it has something to do with waking up early, I work from home and my sleep schedule varies, but the pain in my stomach only comes when I wake up before 9 o'clock, so it could have something to do with waking up to an alarm, or not getting enough sleep.

I have the same problem and I have linked it to eating late at night or over-eating at supper time. Stress is also a culprit and I live a high stress life for about 3 months out of the year (tax season). But over eating at supper time or snacking at night is definitely the main problem for me.
In addition I should point out that the individual initially inquiring about their tummy troubles is on medications due to a liver transplant so therefore meds are unavoidable. But please, please take care of your liver! And watch that tummy.

Every morning, when I wake up my stomach is very queasy. Regardless of eating yogurt in the morning and laying back down I still have the same feeling it's only about 1 o'clock or two that I'm able to get up and function.I'm just trying to find out what's causing these problems in the morning. They ruin a good part of the day. Had an endoscopic, turns out panreas isn't functioning to process food right. But first thing in the morning is the only time.

hi im 19 and ive been dealing with the same thing since i was about 13. Everymorning id wake up id have a sharp pain in my stomach and what also felt like a pit as though my stomach had just sucked inside its self. Id feel very nauseous as well, making an entire meal for breakfast. Just the smell of the food would make my stomach turn but i wouldnt even be able to take one bite without puking so id throw the food away. I quickly got used to not eating in the morning and sometimes even skiping lunch then eating in the afternoon and late at night. I started smoking weed when i was about 14-15 and found that soon after smoking i would notice the paing was gone or drastically reduced. I would also notice i had an appetite and actually wanted to eat breakfast for the first time in a long time. My mom and grandmom have both told me that from what im describing i may have a stomach ulser. Now after an hr of research and reading other peopls accounts with similar symptoms of stomach pains and possibly stomach ulsers im convinced. I know what it is sadly i cant go to the doctor i have no insurance so for now ill stick to smoking sativa in the morning.

Hi! I have some answers for you all. I have the same problem. Every morning for as long as I can remember. I have awoken to a nauseous stomach, sometimes even vomiting. I went to several doctors over time, along with numerous tests. I finally found the answer when I talked to my psychiatrist. See, I have anxiety, crippling anxiety, all my life. This can cause physical symptoms, like stomach pain, nausea, or even body pain. It's called conversion disorder. You can Google it for yourself. The only thing that has helped me is smoking marijuana. I have small amount throughout the day along with my other meds, and it really helps. Gods medicine is the best, I always say...

That last sentence is a little unnecessarily harsh towards Nate. This is a common misunderstanding. If you are ingesting marijuana for the pain relief only, decarbing or "activating" is unnecessary, but if you do decarb, you won't lose the pain relieving effects. If you want to get high as well, decarbing IS necessary. THC is not an already active compound in marijuana, and may be beneficial if you are trying to fight stress as well as pain. You were both right afterall.
