I have been drinking 2 extra strong beer/night lately a beer named Faxe which has a an alcohol content of 10%. Also I drink 2-3 glasses of red wine.

Other than that I consider myself fairly healthy eating fruits and veggies everyday, trying to stay away from salt and red meat as much as possible.

Everytime I have had that beer the next day I will wake up with a sick stomach all day with feveres chills and nauseated and this weird tickeling throat feeling.

I used to be able to drink other regular beers with no problems.

I am 46 years old male and have a previous history of fairly regular, I wouldnt say heavy drinking throughout the years.

Is it just the beer I have a reaction to or is it more serious like gastritis etc.

I had some blood work done a couple of months ago where they checked everything and all came out fine.

Has anyone else had the same happened to?

Thanks,

Dan

yes, i am 45 years old, and i used to have stomach issues after a lengthy fairly regular intake of high alcoholic beer in the past. I did develop stomach issues, gastro intestinal problems, increased stomach acid and eventually bleeding. Your alcohol intake might be catching up with your stomach. I will suggest you talk to your doctor and at least lay off the booze for a while and see if there is any improvement to your stomach. Good luck.
