I have been smoking daily for 35 years. Cut down to two or three hits a day. Play full court basketball 2-3 times per week. Lift weights 2-3 times a week. Run 3 miles 1-2 times a week. Eat fairly healthy and have never drank. Drink a gallon of cranberry juice a week. Quit four days ago to be able to pass a drug test for a new job. Miss the buzz, but have had none of the withdrawl symptoms described by others. Just thought I would add to the discussion.

Yeah I guess it's really hit or miss. Were you always smoking Reggie, mids or zone?or did you switch to kush or higher grade marijuania later on in life.

Hi all.. I'm 19 years old and have been smoking since I was 14.. Not ONE day has passed where I didn't toke. I have to quit for financial and legal reasons. Today is day two, the headaches are IMMENSELY PAINFUL.. The pain in my stomach is TERRIBLE.. I am so anxious and moody I can't take it. Weed was my escape from reality and helped with my eating disorder and sleeping disorder. I would buy an eighth a day, 60 bucks for some crazy bud. Yes, I went to the pawnshop like a heroin addict and pawned just about everything I have that my parents wouldn't notice gone(only my belongings). Do you know how shitty you feel after doing that? You feel like a low life piece of sh*t. I DO NOT think that Marijuana is addictive ITSELF.. I believe the user lets it take control, as I will admit I did.. I'm very disappointed in myself and I'm glad to see that I'm NOT the only one experiencing these symptoms..

I have smoked marijuana for over 50 years and regarding withdrawal symptoms that they have mentioned In most articles I've read for me not so the only drawback I feel tired other than that I had more energy I got a lot done and I always pass test easily when I was stoned. I was a court reporter and I wrote 335 words per minute of jury charge and congressional I rarely missed award and I could do that after smoking The whole joint of the chronic. I have no symptoms except my pocket book has more money in it

what up everyone, just wanted to share my story about marijuana withdrawal, for the longest time I thought it was a joke and not real, but after 10 years of everyday smoking I decided it was time for a 100 day no pot challenge, I'm on day 2 and man let me tell you; marijuana withdrawls is real as f**k, the only symptoms I seem to get are; loss of appetite/extreme nausea whenever I eat, and it's also really hard to fall asleep at night, I have found a remedy that works extremely well for the nausea/ appetite loss, it's called OxyContin, and it almost immediately gets rid of all the nausea and let's me eat fine, just gotta make sure you don't get addicted to these things because opiate withdrawal is 100x worse than this, also sleep-aid pills or benzo's work great for the insomnia, hope this info helps and goodluck everybody stay strong!

Hi hunni. If it helps I'm going through the same thing. I've smoked if for 10 years. Constant for about 6. I'm 24 years old. I went cold turkey 2 weeks ago. And it's been 1 problem after another. I can't sleep. When I do I get woken up my my heart racing. Its horrid. I've lost my appetite. I've lost so much weight. Other things going on is constipation. I feel sick all day. But not actually been sick at all. That's how I know it's withdrawls. And I'm not ill. I can't wait to feel normal again. It's will have been 3 weeks soon and I'm still feeling sh*t. I don't know how long it will take for me to feel better. All I know us I'm never touching it again

mmm your words give me happiness, i didnt even know that what i am going through is because i stopped smoking weed. i suddenly realized one an a half month back that weed was not for me. i started smoking weed a year back with one of my boy friend and i come from a typical beautiful Indian Family, who is giving me support from last two months after knowing this that i was doing drugs, gone through every thing insomnia, sleeplessness, head aches, now this weird feeling in my throat and i know ill feel better soon, anyway yahh so you give me hope and happiness at the same time, cause i still feel weird and confused, my confidence level has just dropped, and putting effort to feel better too, but at the same time trying to spend time in my home town till the time i feel normal. thank you so much for the words.

I've been smoking for 15 years and today I have quit for good. I've tried before and have quickly gave in to the moods and anxiety and smoked again. I've had enough of relying on it to. Im trying to look at it like child birth. Ive done it 3 times. Its friggen painful. Anyways during labour it gets to a point where you feel like you cant do no more. Thats it. I want it to stop. Im not giving birth no more. But you dont have a choice, you have to breath and get through it. If i can do that 3 times, i can quit weed. Also the amount of money that I was spending is absolutely disgusting. When I worked it out I was physically sick. I know it's going to be hard but I know after a week or so I should start feeling more myself again. In fact I don't think I really know who that is anymore

Hi, im leonardo, im 27, i have smoke weed since i was 16, when i turned 21 i started to smoke on regular basis (around 3 times a day on weekdays and almost all day on weekend). The money was never a problem ( is very cheap and of high quality here in colombia, 60gr /17 dolars), neither my professional development ( im an electronic engineer, bioengineering specialist, and im finishing my PhD in Bioscience). Sometimes istop buying for a month or so, mainly because i realize i am becoming extremely lazy and im getting hedache after smoking... the withdrawals symptoms i have experienced are difficult to sleep for a couple days (the excercise advise works very well), remember dreams again are a positive aspect, althoug sometimes i get scary nightmares, when im awake i feel very tired, and contrary to what most people say, this time i am experiecing an increase in apetite, i mean i eat and get hungry very often :s, anyone of you have experience this?.

I wanted to share my story, i dont think that i will stop smoking weed like "forever", instead this "pauses" in weed consumption works fine for me, besides when i get to smoke again after a month or so, the sensation is so much better.
