I've noticed for the past couple of days that I've been having this strange bubbly sensation in my stomach. My bowel movements have always been irregular but lately even more so, for the past month or so I've noticed that i only have bowel movements when I drink coffee in the morning. I've been really bloated lately but I wrote that off as normal seeing as my stomach is generally more noticeably bloated 2 weeks prior to my period. Today I decided to check out how my stomach feels, theres pain when I press down midabdomen and at the top, when I pressed my lower abdomen I felt nothing but slight discomfort that I usually feel  even when my doctor does it. I noticed that the pain was more intense when I pressed down midabdomen on the left side and also in between the bottom of my ribcage. I don't know if this is relevant but maybe it might be about 3 weeks ago I had a UTI, painful urination, lower abdomen pain, the whole nine yards. During that time I noticed blood in my urine but seeing as thats fairly common during UTI's I never thought much of it, it did cease about 2 days into taking the antibiotic I was prescribed. A little about me, I'm 20, I'm fairly healthy-ish. I've been taking vitamins B and D for a little over a year as prescribed by my doctor for fatigue (she attributed it to the fact that it was winter and I wasn't out in the sun as much as I had been during that summer). I also suffer from constant headaches that my doctors have attributed to my not wearing my glasses, I've never had a CT scan or anything of that sort to check it out though. All my blood tests show up normal. I have the occasional virus and cold, not so much the flu. I'm stumped, I feel as though I just might be overreacting a bit.

From what you are describing and your symptoms, I am almost 100% positive you have IBS - Irritable Bowel Syndrome! I used to describe it like someone was tying my stomach and intestines into a knot! Some doctors still believe this is "all in your head" sort of condition - but try saying that to someone that suffers from it! there are diet plans to follow - that can REALLY help with the symptoms and make you regular - that's what you need right now - good fibres and oils to help you become regular (where the GAS BUBBLES) wont be affecting you - that's what the bubbly stomach is - Gas bubbles from constipation and upset stomach! We can not put links, but if you were to Google the symptoms and the "cure" I am sure this will help you a lot! Sometimes even knowing that there IS something can be a HUGE relief (as long as it's not major of course) hope this helps!

You may have a hernia. IBS is s symptom of an underlying problem. The medical field throws anyone with abdominal trouble into this category when they don't really know what's wrong. I would get a scan to rule out any type of bowel obstruction. If something is pressing against your colon it will cause trapped gas and that bubbly feeling.
