I have recently read something about plugging drugs into "any orifice with a mucous membrane". No, I am not talking about illegal drugs and I am not posting this to get informed for "recreational purposes". I have ADHD and have been doing some research about the drug I was recently prescribed, that's how I came across this article so I got curious. I googled this topic and a bunch of "drug forums" came up. I wasn't able to find any expert opinions, the only opinions I found were from a bunch of kids who apparently like to party way too much. I would like to know if anyone has ever heard about "plugging" drugs (into anus, vagina, penis, mouth, etc). My question is, is it safe? is it medically recommended? does it give the drug more strength or does it last longer? Once again, this is a serious question, the reason why I ask is because I feel like the medication I'm taking right now, starts loosing its effect around 5-6PM and I would prefer that it would last longer. I just feel embarrassed about asking my doctor this question.
You just need a diff dose. There s no benefit to plugging, please don't even bother. You don't want private part problems! Tell your doc they are wearing off too soon.
I was diagnosed with ADHD approx 9 yrs ago and I take Adderal 30 mg tabs twice a day, not sure what MG's you are taking but I would let your doctor know they arent working like they should. Just a lil advice, I had my gynocologist tell me years ago that any type of habit forming drug whether its in pill form or liquid, if its inserted into the vaginal area will deliver much stronger side effects which can be dangerous to your health. I would talk to your doctor about getting your dose increased.
