I was taking suboxone for 7 years due to an accident. I took myself off of 6 mg a day and truly thought I was going to die. I ended up in the hospital with dehydration. The symptoms were so bad I went into a depression and couldn't get out of bed to care for my children. My bones ached so bad, it was unbearable. I ended up seeking out patient treatment and the doctor put me on chlonodine as well as nuvigil that gives me energy. Thank goodness for these meds. If it wasn't for them I think I would still be laying in bed not wanting to do anything but sleep until it was all over! The doctor said suboxone is a very hard rug to come off and no one should try it on their own!
My boyfriend has been taking 5 - 8 mg of Suboxone per day, for the last 6 months. But he's been on Suboxone for over 8 months. He's been tapering down but ends up taking the 5 mg. He's decided he's going to quit cold turkey, instead of refilling his prescription. Any information on withdrawing from Sub? Please. Im expecting it to be a rough week or longer and I'd love to know anything that can help us make it easier on us but most importantly him. Im counting on waiting on him hand and foot. Were going to try an all natural "Thomas Recipie".
