Suboxone withdrawl...any natural thing I can do to avoid it?

I've been on subs for two years or so and today is day four with no subs I have managed to cut my strips into 1/2 a day for about 2 weeks then 1/2 every other day this still is not easy at all but I will not take this again stepping it down will truly help but you as the individual have to know you are going to feel bad for a long period or go through hell for a short time it's up to you in what you can handle I cold turkeyed I 10 to 15 oc 80 a day habit it was something I just don't have the strength to repeat so I know just how hard this can be

The way I look at it is this.. if you used opiates your going to have to pay the piper sometime...I began with a healthy cocaine habbit my freshman year that eventually turned to oxycontin 80mg when they used to flow like water before they put that wax BS in them. From there I used heroin for two years before I ever thought of quitting. I have done every opiod from viks to oxymorphine but then there are subs....makes methadone look like cough meds. Two years into the subs "clean" from my old ways I was ready to just be me, remember what it feels like to get a normal cold chill, and leave the house without planning ahead. I tapered from 8mg down to under one before I ran out...still sick for two weeks. Remember youve been poisoning yourself slowly but surely throughout your opiod use whatever the drug. There are many natural things u can do to ease the symptoms but your body still has to do it naturally and over time. So the quicker u let it run its course the quicker your back on your feet. These things will ease your symptoms but remember your paying the piper. IT CAN BE DONE!!! Keep telling yourself that. You will never be the same u have to forget that instead try to focus on a clean thought or goal throughout your wd to get you through odds are if u think hard youll find more than one, mine may be stupid. But just for example I thought of like early ocean life thinking what it would feel like to be swimming through the ocean completely clean and carefree, and believe it or not these thoughts will stimulate your nervous system in turn retraining your body to be normal again. This is not easy!!!! There is no quick fix!!! You have to want it YOU CAN DO THIS!!! #addictioncanbecured

Im finally startin that normal journey in life after goin from 10 to 15 p tens a day to a quarter of sub a day then up to 1 and half sub no weenein for me no vits yet jus. Bananas aand some b6 with half. Bottle of nyquil a night and a hot 30 min bath i am now on a day and a half im doubt the worste has set in yet but from readin all these storys and ppl exp deff has helped alot im tryin to stay posative have a 6 month old son i look at every time i wanna jump up move these legs that wont stop movin and get a sub but his face is gettin me threw it really jus wanna feel normal jus wanna wake up and be able to go to work and not think oh shi its that time need bathroom break and snort half a 8mg. I beleave it is all will power if u dobt bave that than there r clinics goin to bbuy the withdrawl all have read neg post and posative posts so guess its worth a try any other advice anyone has is greatly appreciated this wd is far far worst than coke or pain pills. All of u r in my prayers and proud of everyone that has over come this devil .... to all in my shoes tonight stay strong with me we will and can get thru hot bath top of list sweat and hydrate .... prayers to all thanks again for the support and advice help. God grant me that serenity ....

Im havin a hard time findin the l tyrosin is there any thing else that will take its place. Day 2 sober. Really feelin cold sweats skin burnin rls poos feel very dyhedrated. ....cant seem to find anythin on google

I was on box and tex for over 2 years I finally decided to get off it for good and not wimp out I took day quill every day when I felt bad for two weeks it helped me through it tremendously. I'm now clean 208 days.

I'm now 11 days off suboxone after being on them for 7 yrs and I suggest exercise lighlty by jogging in place it helps me and epson salt to relax in a bath! What's helped me is don't take anything for sleep last night I vhose not to take melatonin and I actually slept for 7 hrs. I've also turned to god and asked for forgiveness and remember to pray! After I've. Recited this preticular verse out of the bible I was able to fall asleep with no pins and needles. " Jabez cried out to the God of Isreal He said I wish you would bless me. I wish you would give me more territory let your powerful hand be with me. Keep me from harm. Then I will not have any pain and God gave him what he asked for! Read 3x a day for 7 days! If we live graciously we can live soberly! I have been freaking out to with no sleep but like I said I just push through it and try to distract my thoughts and watvh funny movies and listen to upbeat music it does help! Natural is best so eat lots of apples and pears and bananas and grapes and drink juice and water and just healthy! Its going to take time to build your endorphines back up since suboxones made us numb! I am laughing again and my diharea is gone and all I can say is were all different but I try to rest and do what I can when I can because I do have spurts of energy already! Yes what worked for me was Ayahuasca and San Pedro. Very natural and will help very much . It helps wd and mental addiction.

I am on day 6 of being off subs after having been on 32mg for over 3 years. I finally decided enough was enough and was tired of all the doctor visits, urine tests, pharmacies, and having to plan my day around taking my subs. A little background I spent 2006-2009 addicted to oxycontin, fentanyl, morphine, heroin, and cocaine. Tried detoxing in a hospital twice and spent 4 months total in a rehab.

Right now my biggest complaint is the restless legs at night and the anxiety and lack energy during the day. It takes me about 3-5 hours to fall asleep and then I wake up anxious. Its a vicious cycle I know but I read that the lack of dopamine is related to restless legs.

I know that good days are coming soon, sooner than later I hope as my wife and kids don't deserve to go through this again.

By the way I have been loading up on various vitamins and over the counter remedies for restless leg. Anything helps!

Keep pressing forward! There is a light at the end of the tunnel!

I was told this by a close friend who was way worse off than me, he said sobriety isnt for pussies. I took subs for four years and didnt taper i just quit cold turkey. Im on day 5 and every day i feel better thAn the last. Yea i still feel like sh*t, but btr than what i did. Best advice i can give u is to just stop taking it when u kno for 100% that u are done. Once u decided that u can do it. Keep ur mind occupied get out and do something, even if u dont feel like it make urself do it. Forget all the posts abt 2-3 weeks w/d. Everyone is diff and its what u make of it, not saying its easy but u urself is stronger than that little voice in your head.

OMG! I'm going through the same thing. I weened off Suboxone for 2 weeks with .5 mg once a day. I didn't feel any withdrawal symptoms for about a week but now I've got the creepy crawlies only at night. I can't sleep at all during the day or night. I did some running on the treadmill hoping to tire myself out enough to get some sleep but that didn't work. My dr called in another refill but I REALLY don't want to go through this again in another month. I have to put my big girl pants on and tough it out :-(
