I have been having the same feeling the last couple of weeks on the top of my left foot above the arch.  No pain, just intense warm feeling which last for a few moments then it's gone.  I wondered if it was related to pre-menopause but as so many other people are having this sensation I don't it can be as seems to be young, old, male and female.  Also definitely not shoe related for me as I wear sandals from April to October!

Me too!  A warm feeling along the side of the arch and heel, only on my left foot.  It doesn't hurt, it's like warm water!  I'm 45, healthy, not on any meds, no injury, and I only wear comfy shoes.  I'm getting this a few times a day, sitting, standing, walking, doesn't matter, it just happens.  Does anyone know what this is yet?

Me too ! I'm 26 and started feeling this a week ago, a sudden flash of heat on my left foot. I did some research and here's the summary to the reasons i found (Most likely to less likely)

1- Compressed or trapped nerve (Due to bad shoes)

2- Bad blood circulation (Sitting for long hours)

3- Diabetes

If there's swelling, see a doctor.

I am 26 and I've been having this warming sensation on and off all day for 4days now in arch of right foot.i was in a car accident about a week and a half ago and hurt my back. my dr believes its a pinched or inflamed nerve in my back.starting phys therapy so hopefully that helps.as you all kno that have this issue it's really annoying and stress inducing.

Well that's interesting because I have recently been feeling the sensation of heat in my left toes and I too received a cortisone injection in my right knee weeks ago. But I have not had a pedicure in over a year. I am 63.

So weird. I have the same this. I get a sudden flush of warmth under my right foot. It started yesterday and I kept thinking that the under floor hearing in my tiles had turned on accidentally! It took me ages to figure out it was just one foot. It's getting more and more frequent. I'm 23 and have had diabetes for 12 yrs. I guess it could be related : I get checked by a podiatrist once a year though and my circulation is always perfect. I'm embarrassed to even mention the symptom to someone cus it sounds so silly lol.

I have been having the same feeling in my left foot for about 2 weeks. I'm wondering if it's worth a trip to the doc-just seems so strange! I had a sore ankle a few weeks ago so I thought maybe it is part of the healing process. Also had a bub 10 weeks ago.

Cmon guys, someone should have an idea about this by now. It has never occurred to me until now so I hurriedly text my wife which is a studying medicine but didn't get a response yet from her, so I decided to check online. It burns and freeze a bit, little time the right foot bear thesame. Don't know the real cause and Im so exhausted cant drive my self to the clinic nearby. Oh, should I sleep and see what tomorrow holds for me or I should call an emergency number?
