I have been having the same feeling the last couple of weeks on the top of my left foot above the arch. No pain, just intense warm feeling which last for a few moments then it's gone. I wondered if it was related to pre-menopause but as so many other people are having this sensation I don't it can be as seems to be young, old, male and female. Also definitely not shoe related for me as I wear sandals from April to October!

Me too! A warm feeling along the side of the arch and heel, only on my left foot. It doesn't hurt, it's like warm water! I'm 45, healthy, not on any meds, no injury, and I only wear comfy shoes. I'm getting this a few times a day, sitting, standing, walking, doesn't matter, it just happens. Does anyone know what this is yet?

Me too ! I'm 26 and started feeling this a week ago, a sudden flash of heat on my left foot. I did some research and here's the summary to the reasons i found (Most likely to less likely)
1- Compressed or trapped nerve (Due to bad shoes)
2- Bad blood circulation (Sitting for long hours)
3- Diabetes
If there's swelling, see a doctor.

Me too! I'm 43 and healthy weight, no med conditions. Just get a warm flush on left sole in the arch area for a few seconds on and off. Now just started on front of left thigh too!

Well that's interesting because I have recently been feeling the sensation of heat in my left toes and I too received a cortisone injection in my right knee weeks ago. But I have not had a pedicure in over a year. I am 63.
