Yesterday had body work to ease back problem suddenly noticed that hot flashes in left foot seems to be gone. So possible nerve damage. Get someone who does DEEP massage.

I'm having the exact same thing in the exact same place you described. Have you been able to find out what it is?

Mine happens whether I am wearing shoes or not. There are may reason that can cause it, they all lead to my doctor. Will be checking in with him. It is a lack of B12 or one of the nerve disorders. Doing B12 for a few weeks first.

I have been having the same thing for a couple of weeks. Since you mentioned about the pedicures, it could be something to do with it. I had a pedicure about a month ago !! Mine is also just one foot.

I'm also having the radiating heat on my left foot, but I'm not even wearing shoes. Happened last night after I went to bed. I'm wondering if it could be related to my lower back issues?

I had this same thing. I am 36, not over weight and not diabetic. My doctor said there are a number of things that could cause it from neuropathy (diabetic or other), diabetes, poor circulation, inflammation, surgery, restless leg syndrome, kidney disease, Vitamin Deficiency, Vitamin B6 overdose, chemo drugs, metal poisoning, edema and hypertension to name a few. We determined mine was from poor circulation and restless leg (my mom has Raynaud's disease which I have inherited from her).

I came across this... I too have been having hot/warm flashes in my left foot for about a week now.
I went to the doc today and she wants an xray of my sciatica. She said it could be a nerve thing that is making it happen. I do have sciatica problems from slipping down 5 stairs 8 years ago. I also have a knot smaller than a dime on my left outer thigh in the middle part of thigh that showed up a week prior to the foot flashes. No pain, no discoloring, no swell, etc. It requires a ultrasound. So the hot flash could be related to the thigh knot? But who knows..
The weird thing is, that i have not been having sciatica symptoms. I do have restless legs when i go to sleep, but nothing else that would lead me to believe that this hot flash foot is stemming from sciatica. I have an appt in 4 days for the xrays. I'll come back to update after she tells me what they find.

Same thing has been happening to me and I wear flip flops religiously or barefooted. SO, it has to be something else besides just tight shoes. ????

I'm feeling pretty much the same thing. When I'm lying in bed there's this sudden feeling of heat around the area of my right foot's heel and around my right ankle. I'm 15 and my BMI is perfectly normal so I'm not overweight or anything. Any other ideas as to why this is happening?
