i would like to ask what does the meaning of my chest x-ray indicating suspicious right upper lobe densities, correlation with a lordotic view is suggested. while the heart is within normal size and configuration.
Hi Jocelyn,

In the upper right lung, there are "shadows" on the x-ray.

It usually indicates the possibility of PTB, pulmonary tuberculosis.  It may be active, or it may have already been treated.  The scars remain on the lungs.  It may also be another infection.

They want to take another x-ray, at a different angle, to help confirm.

Hope it helps.

What is suspicious upper right density

There are shadows in the x-ray, something is denser than the surrounding tissues.

Usually it indicates scarring, fluid, or infection.

is it still possible to have a clear xray result despite of all this suspicious densities?? thanks so much

It depends upon what the source of the densities is Joji.

If it's a fluid, yes, it can clear. Unfortunately they are usually the result of scarring, from an infection, and they won't clear.
