Hello. I'm 26 year old female and just recently I have experienced some strange health problems. About two weeks ago I have experienced my first symptoms. I first felt some usual cold symptoms and then I experienced excessive lymph node swelling in my groin region. It looked like my whole pelvic region is swollen. I'm sexually active female and I have even experienced some problems on that field- usually after sex, but also occasionally during the day, I've had a thick bloody-colored, mucus discharge.
Please tell me, could this be anything serious. Should I seek for some professional help or wait for this to resolve by it self?
Hello. I have just read your post and I can't really believe what I have read. All the symptoms you felt and you didn’t contact your doctor yet! I find that really hard to understand.
Swollen lymph nodes, especially in a groin region, are a sign of some genital infection. A pelvic node could never be felt by hand, only detectable by such techniques a CT scan, MRI, etc…The bottom line is that could be almost anything, from some simple genital herpes to HIV infection. I suggest you to immediately contact your gynecologist and to have some gynecology exam as quick as possible. Early detection is the best sure for every sexually transmitted disease.
Wish you luck!
a 50 year old women hassa tummy tuck two years ago. The drains that were reomved left the pelvis swollen. It has continued to swell as time has progressed. The portion were all the pubic hair is has grown large enough to actually cup the skin in your hand.Could this be an infection that has something to do with the original drainage ?
