My vagina lips are really swollen. This scares me. I have been very protective during sex and I am sure that it is not STD. What do you think that might be my case? Could this be sign of something really serious?

The first thing you need to do is to go to your doctor. There could be a number of causes for this, but none of them serious. However, to be sure about this your doctor needs to rule out the STD. When it comes to you case, it is likely to be some form of allergy or dermatitis. The cause of this is probably something you are coming into contact with. Maybe the cause is the clothing you are wearing. Maybe the material of your panties bothers you. Another possible cause is could be a vaginal deodorant or spray if you use one, or even a bath additive of some sort. This is a very sensitive area, so sensitive that even known biological washing powders can cause this. Think about whether there is something you are coming into contact with that might be causing it. For relief, try getting 1% hydrocortisone cream. This cream is mild, but very good for relieving itching and inflammation.
