Feeling really cold? My hands and feet are freezing and my torso is burning hot, along with my forehead. I took my temperature and it was 95 F, I believe. The thermometer I used was saying it was low so I'm not sure hot legitimate my temperature really is. I have Hypothyroidism, but was just a bit borderline when I was born. But I have taken thyroid medication my whole life for this. Recently, my doctor said that if my blood test, that I get done yearly, comes back with normal levels that I could try for a month without taking my medication. I started on the very first day of this month and have not taken my medication since. I go back in for a checkup on my levels at the beginning of August. I haven't experienced anything unusual except I have been slightly more lethargic then normal. But tonight I got gas pain and had a bout of diarrhea and now my body is very cold. I'd like to know if this might be caused from being taken off the medications for the month? Or it might be something else? Please share what you think it could be. Also, I've been very cold for awhile, maybe and hour or so. Thank you for reading and helping me out.
Taken off my thyroid medication - is that why my body is freezing?
