Ok, I replied to some one's post a while ago but no one commented so I decided to just make a new topic.... I'm a 17 year old girl that's been suffering from frequent headaches, dizziness/light-headness, nausea, fatigue, frequency in urnitating, and recently stomach pains when I sleep on my stomach.... I've always slept on my stomach but starting a couple months ago I've starting having pains around my belly button and when I'm awake if I lay on it I start to feel nauseous.... the urinating thing is frequent all through the day but most frequent in the morning.... any one have an idea of what this could be?
Hi there! Well, I guess we can exclude the pregnancy and STD since you haven't mentioned it in your post. There must be something wrong with your stomach then. You should talk to your doctor about your symptoms. A frequent urination can be caused by diabetes, pregnancy, bladder problems, interstitial cysts... Are you taking any medications? These could also be side effects of some medications. Or it could be caused by urinary tract infection. But only a doctor can tell you for sure what's causing your problems. Take care.

Thanx.... and I'm pretty sure it's not an STD and I'm not taking any meds.... and if it helps, I am an athlete.

Well, most girls who play sports have regular menstrual periods, and girls who are very active may skip a few periods. However, some girls who train really hard may skip many menstrual periods, or they may get their period at a late age, especially if they've lost weight or developed an eating disorder. Girls may begin to skip periods if they are not getting proper nutrition, or if there is too much stress on their body from sports. This stress lowers estrogen levels, which may cause skipped periods.

All that is normal... I do train very hard but my period is always normal.... it's just the symptoms that I've listed and idk what it could be.... I've been checked for diabetes and I'm pretty sure that's it's not a UTI.... but idk...

I'm open for any answers... so feel free to reply.... I just want to make sure that it's nothing serious, so I won't be going to the doctor for no reason.... so any more ideas as to what it could be?

Well, I really don't know what else could it be... Pain can arise from any of several causes, including infection, inflammation, formation of sores (ulcers), perforation or rupture of organs, muscle contractions that are uncoordinated or blocked by an obstruction, and blockage of blood flow to organs. Maybe you'll find some useful information here
