I too ran into the situation. I just started having her pull her nightgown up when she came back to the living room. That way I could see that her rubber pants were on right. I don't check anymore and the beds stay dry.

Our daughter is 14 and a puberty bedwetter.She also wears cloth diapers and rubberpants to bed and ocaisonally has a day time accident.She is finially supposed to be making her First Holy Communion on April 25th.She will be wearing the poofy communion dress and veil with the tights and shoes.I am thinking about having her wear her bedwetting diapers and rubberpants under the tights as a precaution.I havent mentioned it to her yet.Would it be a good idea to have her wear them?

Our daughter is 15 also and still bedwetting from puberty.Ever since she started the bedwetting past age 12,i have put her cloth diapers and rubberpants on her before bedtime and she likes having me do it.With in the last four months,i have discovered that she is using a pacifier to suck on after she is in bed! To Kieran- Hi,i am 14 also and a bedwetter! I have to wear cloth diapers and plastic pants to bed every night because of my parents requirement.They do keep my bed dry,but the problem i have is my plastic pants are adult size and fit me blousy over my diapers and they crinkle under my nightgown when i walk.My two brothers hear them crinkling and it embarrasses me.

Our daughter is 16 and just did her Sacrement of Confirmation back on August 29th.All of the girls had to wear white,short sleeve,floor length dresses and veils for the ceremony.I did 10 cloth diapers with white rubberpants over them on her under the dress in case she had an accident which she is prone to.

Sorry your dealing with bed wetting it is a frustrating problem to deal and and it can be difficult to overcome.
There is nothing wrong with your mom putting your diaper and plastic pants on putting diapers on properly by yourself would very difficult and there is nothing wrong with needing help to get the diaper on right so it doesn't leak.
Your not a baby in anyway your a teenage girl that has a bed wetting problem which is a medical issue.
It's common to associate diapers and bed wetting with young kids but there are many teens that have bed wetting problems and it is not your fault in anyway that you wet the bed.
Hopefully all you need is time to grow out of bed wetting and until you do grow out of it the bed wetting has to be managed and the best way to manage bed wetting is to have a good bed wetting mattress cover on your bed and to wear diapers so your not sleeping on wet sheets.
Try not to stress and worry about wetting your bed it's a problem many teens deal with and your doing what you have to do to manage the problem so your not a baby in anyway your a teenage that has a bed wetting problem.

I need advice- I am a girl 14 and one of my close friends,Lacey,is still bedwetting from her puberty and wears a cloth diaper and plastic pants to bed every night. Her parents require her to wear a diaper and plastic pants for holidays,special occasions,weddings,etc.even tho she doesnt need them during the daytime! Is this ok for her parents to do this?

Our daughter is 12 and in the early stages of puberty and bedwetting also.Like other girls here we use cloth diapers and rubberpants on her at night.She has a few of the footed blanket sleepers that she has been wearing since it turned cold and i sometimes get up during the night and change her.The thing that i learned quickly is that the blanket sleepers dont work for doing diaper changes! I had to take her arms out of the sleeper and pull it down to change her diapers! She got three two piece footed pajama outfits for christmas and now it is much easier for me to change her diapers!

It would perhaps be a help if after the diapers were pinned that you asked your mom to be able to put on your plastic pants, it's just like putting on panties. Just make sure the plastic pants completely cover the diapers and that might help you feel a little better about having them on. It's not easy to go to bed with cloth diapers and plastic pants on, I too did it during puberty..

Mom still insists on putting the rubberpants on me,even tho i tried it for a few times with no problems.Mom told me its a 'mom' thing by putting the rubberpants on me over my diapers. You are so right,it is not easy going to bed with cloth diapers and plastic pants on! How long did you have to wear yours and at what age did you stop wearing them?

Reading these posts,i get the general consensus that cloth diapers and rubberpants are preferred for bedwetting girls more than are disposable diapers.I am the mom of an 11 year old daughter and she will be starting puberty in the next few months and there is a history in our families of bedwetting during puberty.If it happens with my daughter,i am going to use the cloth diapers and rubberpants on her.
