:$ :'( :-(

On June 21, 2006 At this age i was 19 years old .My Doctor , Portmore Jamaica West Indies referred me to a Endocrinologist after of some test which was done and the results
were as follows of blood test and ultra sound that was
done because of the absent of my period at this age. The reults were as follows (a) primary ovulation failure, (b) womb not normal size (4 something don't remember),
eggs were not visible or not present at all

I called and made an appointment with this Doctor for July 6,2006 .On the day of my appointment I presented the documents that previous
Doctor had given to me in the hope of getting some
results to the Doctor I was sent to and He also did some general observation yourself
on my physical organ etc. After that he came to the
conclusion that i might have TURNER SYNDROME but to
diagnose me with the neccesary treatment i would have to do a test called the karyotype blood test.

I took the form from you and had the intention
to go and find out how much it would cost to do this
such a test. I called and also visted some of the labs
that may offer this service but most did not do it and
others were too expensive. I am 22 years of age
will be 23 this year.I am now working and is so
eager to do this before the end of March of this year
2008 . I wanted to do it but my financial constrain
has cause this to be put aside until now. I am
planning on trying another way of getting the funds to
do this test.

I am now also in a relationship and we are
considering of having children and starting a family
but because of this i have not yet done so. I am
writing now to find out if after two years now if any
possible changes that can be present in my body But there is still no sign of period and if i should still go ahead

I just came across this post-it looks like it was from years ago. I hope you have a better understanding of TS and how it's affecting your body and life. I am no expert I am just a mother of a TS girl. If you feel you have no one to talk with please do not hesitate to contact me. Be well, eat well, workout--and importantly take your necessary hormones they prescribe.
