hi mate its quite common in alot of men from 25yrs on, as long as the testicle comes back down its fine, you may find some pain for a short while afterwards because the testicle has gone up where it doesnt normally and causes some muscle called the cremaster to twist, dont forget testicles need to maintain the correct temp to keep your sperm good if its too cold then they will rise up in your body and if they too warm they hang down to cool,,,the only time id worry is if it dont come back down if this happens see a doctor asap..hope this helps and happy shagging :)

I am in my 50s and had this problem all my life. I am afraid that if my testicle goes too far up inside me it won't come back. Being a coward I have avoided getting this looked at for fear of needing an operation. The situation has inhibited me from really going for it when having sex leading to an unsatisfactory sex life.

No one else mentions the effect this problem has on their sex life but I assume it must have that effect on ost of us.

you can put a penis ring around your balls. Nothing to tight obviously, but this will allow you to cum without your testicle sucking up into your abdomen.

Do not use rubberbands! They slowly constrict and cut into your sack. Use an approved gel like stretchy penis ring. Who knows you might even enjoy it!

My husband is having a similar issu, but it is causing him to not orgasm with ejaculation.  He had a hernia surgery when he was 8. We have a good sex life, but 8 months ago, het stopped orgasming when he ejaculate.  It was frustrating for both of us and we tried everything including sex toys, new positions, periods of abstinence, and even psychotherapy.  A couple weeks ago, I was performing oral sex on him and noticed his left testicle was gone.  Well, we found it way up in his groin and after some trying, we coaxed it out.  We continued and he had his first orgasm in 8 months!  He had severe testicle pain that evening afterward.  Two days later, the testicle was still out and a little sore, but we had sex again and again he orgasmed.  Again, severe testicle pain.  A week later, we were attempting to be intimate again and noticed the testicle was again inside his groin.  We didn't coax it out, and he ejaculated but had no orgasm.  We have an appt. with a urologist in a few weeks...just wondering if anyone has ever heard of this?

The testicles hang in a sack of fleshy skin called the scrotum. They are outside the body, but inside the scrotum, because the temperature of the core of the body is too warm for them. The testicles have two main functions to perform: manufacturing sperm and manufacturing testosterone. This outside-the-body location creates the optimal temperature for testicular functioning – about 94 degrees F.
Therefore, one of the main reasons you might see testicles moving around relates to temperature. The cremaster muscle is responsible for the movement. It expands and contracts according to temperature – moving them further from the body when it’s warm and closer to the body when it’s cold. (In really cold lakes, they can’t seem to get close enough!)
Another reason for testicle movement does have to do with sexual arousal. In the 1960′s, Masters and Johnson observed that the testicles elevate just before ejaculation and actually make direct contact with the body. They found that in about 85% of men the right testicle rises before the left one.
Masters and Johnson stated that this movement is very important and that at least partial elevation must occur in order to have what they called a full ejaculation. Sometimes older men will have varying testicular movement and report that there is less pleasurable pressure associated with their ejaculation when their testicles elevate only slightly. Younger men can also have the experience of less pressure when they ejaculate involuntarily and before arousal has reached its peak.
During arousal the testicles also increase in size due to vasocongestion, the accumulation of blood in the pelvis that occurs during arousal. The skin of the scrotum thickens and the testicles increase in size usually by approximately 50% at the height of arousal. However, Masters and Johnson found that if sexual excitement is sustained long enough, the testicles could almost double in size, returning to normal size after orgasm. They also found that this increase in size tends to taper off as men age.
So, the answer to the question about arousal is a qualified “yes.” Some people watch their partner’s scrotal elevation as a sign of how close he is to reaching orgasm. This is more easily done during oral and manual stimulation. Men looking to “last longer,” can also notice this aspect of their arousal to determine where they are relative to orgasm.
I mention these movements since they are quite common. If and when they happen, enjoy them as aspects of arousal. If not, no problem, many people have very satisfying sex without all these ups and downs

Just a little something called the cremaster muscle, or cremasteric muscle, I disremember which. When it contracts it pulls the testicles up. Totally normal... would probably be abnormal if it didn't happen, heh :) Anyway it contracts during orgasm, so stop worrying.

I can medically explain exactly what is happening to you with even the scientific name. If your offers still applies.

Wow, nicely done… you managed to find the perfect pair of words that describe our adventurous friend Mr. ballweight there exactly. He is indeed a tool—that much is obvious—but not just a big one, or even a huge one… an unbelievable one. Kudos.

Sure, and your illiteracy means your exact scientific explanations will undoubtedly be your own . . . not lifted from Wikipedia or anything. What are you, twelve years old?

This is actually normal. Don't worry unless it doesn't descend.
