I had a neck and lower face lift a year ago.  It was clear the day after the op.  that there was a "pull" to the right hand side of my mouth towards my right ear when I talked, pursed my lips or kissed.  A slight pull to the left developed. They are now a permanent feature even when I am not talking. I had no other problems. Quite simply, overall the face lift is great.  Jowels and turkey gobble have gone. Gobble has come back a bit since swelling went down.  However, I look like the cat from the Owl and the p***y cat.  Either side of my mouth, markedly to the right, is a "twirl", a "pull" or a line travelling upwards towards my ears following the direction in which the skin would have been lifted.  Skin doesn't create age lines in this direction.  I saw my surgeon two months after the op. but he just said I looked fantastic, that he didn't think it was as a result of the op. and may be I was just making a fuss.  He suggested filler at my expense. Any corrections need to be done within the year.  Family and friends all agree that the "pulls" shouldn't be there. They make me look like a right little madam.  Any suggestions?

My post. The Owl and the Pussycat is a children's story! How it came to get published like that, I do not know!
