Hi. I just got a sunburn on saturday on my face and shoulders. I tried everything to help it but nothing worked. Anyways it started to peel and the skin underneath is even more redder and hurtful than the sunburned skin. I don't know if the why the skin is like this and hurts more than my original sunburned skin. i was wondering if anyone knows a treatment and the cause to this situation?

It is actually common. I have seen this many times... When you get sunburned, the top layer of skin is not the ONLY layer that gets damaged (this is why it's so dangerous & causes cancer, although tanning & not burning is even worse - crazy, I know).
Don't peel the skin off yourself... let it come off on it's own, this will give the underlying layers the proper time they need to heal. It's kind of like how the skin under a fingernail is... It is not conditioned to be tough like the rest of your skin, so it is MUCH more sensitive. I suggest a good lotion WITHOUT any kind of alcohols/fragrances that would be irritating, or just stick with some aloe. You will want it to stay moist, since the skin is not ready to work the way your outer layer did... It will hurt more when it is dried out & feel like it is too tight or will split. STOP PURPOSELY PEELING though!!!
