Even i am having this problem... i dont know what to do now.. I am right now 20 i have had this problem since 4 years it happens only in my left breast... since my childhood my right breast grew faster than my left i tought it was completely fine but know i am really scarei clearly dont know if they grow back. Previously it used to be small pieces but this time a little big size of my my nipple had fall of... it is pain all my breast... i have searched crazily all over google and this is the only place i found this.... i am embarressed to discuss with any one. Please anyone help me if it is any serious issue or not?

Heyyy I'm only 14 years old but it's also happening to me actually it all started years ago. I accidentally scratched both of my nipples back then. And after that it started to peel and I thought it will get better on its own so I didn't bother that much. But now I'm scared and worried because until now it doesn't heal and it doesn't stop to peel. It was a yellowish crusty skin on top of my nipples. But actually my nipples were flat and they only got up sometimes. I was really worried since then but I haven't told it to anyone. So please if anyone knows what is it kindly tell it.

I had the same problem! But I started using coconut oil after I showed and it has helped so much!! Still not sure what it is though.

im 18 and same!! i only pick the sides of it sometimes since im afraid it'll hurt if i pull the middle of it. it's white, cracked but nothing comes out if it. i haven't told my doctor but told my mother and first and she looked at me weird and told me to not play with it (for the record, i never touch my nipples not even in the shower before) so she wasn't any help. if anything im afraid ill be judged if i go to the gyno. ughhh im glad im not alone though

I'm crying rn because it's the first time I read people going through the same situation as me, I've been crying my eyes out since 2 years ago when this started cause I thought I was dying but was (still am) too afraid to ask for help. I have this little white little things on my nips too. My nips are cracked and just today a part of it fell off (just in the center of my nipple, it got black for some time and now I do have a hole on my nip) I'm really scared, does anyone know hot to deal with is? Is it a cancer symptom?

I also found coconut oil helps. I have the same issue and I think it’s caused by bra rubbing against nipple causing friction and dryness. I started to use coconut oil as I’m pregnant and want to breast feed, but didn’t want this yellow crust going in baby’s mouth. The coconut oil seems to soften the hard yellow crust and it comes off eventually, it is very tender when it comes off, but I think it’s normal as the crust has been covering the sensitive part. If I stop using the coconut oil for a few days I notice the dryness and crust starts again. I’ve had it for over 20 years now - since my teens.
