Hi! I discovered a problem with my breathing, o...about SIX years ago now! I've been thru heck and back trying to be taken seriously about finding a solution...but, that of course required finding the problem. What problem? Everybody(not an exaggeration)thought it was just in my head...ha!..they were right! It was in my head, finally a CT scan was done and they came up with this "mucous cyst"? I asked, "is it on my left side?"-"Yes..." they said..."under your lips on the jaw". Could this be preventing my tongue from laying flat for correct breath pattern and throat opening?
I'm to see an ENT doc on March 3rd, but I wholly expect whoever it is to poo-poo the situation, unfortunately, that's been my experience, but- if you could please prepare me to better "self-advocate", I would appreciate it. I must tell you- I hope it resolves and solves my horrific situation... I've had non-stop congestion for, like, these past six years 24/7- it just takes OVER [(AND it didn't show up on the scan)no allergies, they were checked and I had shots for 3yrs anyway] periodic earaches, daily-worsening dry mouth and consequently an ever shrinking life. (ex; I USED to be a singer... but, if you can't breath properly, you sure can't sing.) Please help me? I need to know what's going on when I see this Doctor, I feel like it's my last chance.
