I have a grandmother that is around her 40 to 50 years old. She was working one day and pulled a mussle or something in her stomache! Lately she's been bleeding and stuff has been coming out of her vagina and she pushes it back in. What is it? Can anyone help? She thinks its like intestines or something but she's scared to go to the hospital. Can anyone tell me anything about it that would help. Please let me know. Thank you so much!
Sounds like her uterus has detached. This can happen in older women or women after childbirth (but, really, I don't know that much on this)

She should have a doc have a look, I think there's a way of reattaching it.

Good luck to her, I can just imagine how freaked out she must be.

You can do a search on "detached uterus"

it is called a vaginal prolapse, and depending on the type and severity it can be serious. It in not uncommon in older women though and can sometimes be helped without surgery. She should get it checked though because it may cause infection.
