Thank you, Michael.
How long were u on it
I gradually reduced my dose of Cymbalta from 60, 30, to 15 mg over the course of 5 weeks. At 15mg I experienced the worst withdrawal symptoms including, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, massive headaches, fatigue, dizziness, hot flashes, and sweating. I guess I needed to reduce it more slowly. It was difficult because the lowest dosage the pills come in is 20mg. I wish I never started this mediation.
Here's my problem, the capsules have different size beads and different number of beads in the same Rx. some are huge with 12 or less beads and some have tiny beads with double or triple beads? What do you suggest? Need answer fast.
To be more accurate, the purpose of the capsule is to prevent contact with any moisture that is not acidic. The pellets or beads jnside are made to disintegrate on contact with a pH-neutral or alkaline environment. (That is why a study found that the medication was effective when the contents were given in apple sauce - slightly acidic - but not in chocolate pudding - not acidic.)
So any gelatin capsule will do - the contents just need to reach your stomach dry, where the capsule will disintegrate, but the contents will not, until they reach your gut which is not acidic.

Hello, I am writing this in August of 2023, long after kenneth potter208174, but want to say you are not the only one getting pissed off a lot more easily about everything. It's a very common withdrawal symptom. Anyone starting or stopping or changing meds in any way would do well to tell as many people in their lives who care about them, and ask them to look up threads like this and get some hopefully idea of what kind of roller-coaster you will be going through.
