I' m 56 years old and had to do it. Sure you can believe its hard because I think at this age that wound in the throat takes to long to heal keeping that pain going. I wonder how long it will be when I can get out of bed and say I feel good? I had that surgery on friday - Went back to work by the hardest on monday....    This is also the most pain meds I have ever taken in my life. my tonge still hurts too.
