the worst side-affect weed ever gave me was the LAZINESS and idk if your a lazy/active person but working out will help you beat withdrawl so much faster, Go nuts on cardio till ur about to frikkin fall! then tell me you cant sleep. I quit weed whenever i did my exams (important sh*t) and having a work out schedual made me feel so much better, it made me more energetic and i never had that on dope, so the changes are good motivation. give it a shot man, good luck

All you people act like marijuanna is bad for you... It's not, it's just illegal if you dont have a perscription for it. But its all politics. Ciggs, coffee, caffiene, alchol, fatty foods, candy junk, soda, hell - even car exhuast and the pollutants you p***y's breath everyday are so much worse for you... But nobody is trying to quit that, and that sh*t will kill you. People watch to much t.v. growing up, and before even smoking the herb marijuanna the think they are suppose to act stupid when they smoke it, they think they are trying a (drug) for the first time. But when you smoked a cig, drank some coffee or soda, or ate some nasty fake food like mcdonalds did you get as excited as the first time you were smoking that herb? Probobly not, because you didn't grow up thinking if you ate one of those burgers that dont go bad and look exactly the same as when you bought it, but left it out in the sun outside for a week as a drug, but that is way worse, and your elders who smoke cigs and drink alchol and caffiene who were telling you marijuanna is bad for you and its a drug when they are doing way worse things to them self just becouse its not labled as illegal. You all are blinded by society... dont quit smoking herb if you enjoy it. Just like everything else in this world to much of a great thing can be a bad thing, i think you probobly do smoke to much, but before you try and quit the only thing that relaxes you and is least worse for you than anything else you probobly do, you should probobly quit the real bad things that can kill you first, fatty foods, nicotine, caffiene, fake sugars and syrups like soda, over the counter drugs, " come on... some b***h on this said they were taking tylonel when they were pregnant to sleep because they couldnt have weed, like that was any better for her baby. Tylonel is a man made pill they make for pain, weed is a single silly plant like aloe vera that makes you feel better with out the gut rot liver fu*ker, blood thinner your giving your un born baby and your self for no reason, an edible with a tiny bit of weed in it would of been better for you than that. Everything else your probobly doing is wrong, but quiting weed to better yourself before quiting all that other c**p you think isnt bad when its way worse is silly. MARIJUANNA IS OK, you were all lied to your whole lives, it shouldnt even be categorized as a drug if you can legally buy sh*t that can kill you, and they advertise reaally bad stuff like liquer,beer, and foods that have no nutritional value might as well eat a rubber tire or some plastic because if that had beef flavor in it, it would be like digesting the same thing. Your all sheep, stop following the herd, fuckn babies. Just join the military if your not doing anything with your life, especially if you have a min wage job and cant afford school, get out your mamas house and quit smokin so much weed for no reason all day. Why dont you just quit the bad stuff for you and cut down on the good stuff for you like marijuanna... because it is good for you, it relieves stress, lowers blood pressure, makes you hungry and sleepy becouse it is the best medicine you can get your hands on that doesnt have screwed up over the counter drugs in it that they would rather have you take. Cut down to just smoking at night before bed and you will be fine you little b***h. or take a break, i took a four year break when i joined the marine corps to fight for this country so you wanna be stoner drugys can smoke it, so fuckn smoke it, there is so much worse things for you to quit doing first. It's mostly in your heads that you need it. truth is you dont need anything if your smoking all day for recreational use, just cut down on it and get your prioritys straight. I smoked weed everyday from 13 years old and enjoyed it every time, then i joined the military took a break to serve our country and now im smoking again. I get lazy too, so i only smoke at night or after work to wind down before bad and relax with my wife. Just dont buy a couple grams and get a gym membership instead, cut down to nights or weekends only with the weed, and pick up a few new hobbies... better yet get a job cuz im sick of payn for your asses, You all are so lucky to have what you have here, stop feeling sorry for your selves, it makes me fuckn sick to my stomach. You fuckn idiots suck at life and got lazy and need somthing to blame it on, dont blame weed blame your self for not doing the things you needed to do before doing the things you wanted to do. I started smoking the herb when i was 18 now 23 and i can count the number of days i havent smoked in the last 2 years on 1 hand. I used to smoke an ounce a week some times more depending on work and sh*t. I've gone cold turkey and I'm literally going mad.
People say exercise or take sleeping pills. I have old sports injuries that prevent me from running, swimming or doing weights. And sleeping pills I won't touch bc of personal issues.
I know it's all in my head but that doesn't make it easier. I feel like I'm going to snap. And it's only been 2 days. If I'd known it was gonna be like this I wudnt have smoked nearly as much and all my mates still smoke. It's all they do. So unless I want to sit there with them and not smoke (which i do t trust myself to do) I'm stuck by myself all day and all nite not being able to do anything bc I'm to tired bc I can't fcuking sleep.

Take up a new hobby to fill in the time! - something COMPLETELY DIFFERENT from the stuff that you did when you were stoned...... whats the extend of your sporting injuries? surely there is some kind of low impact exersize you can do to blow off steam?

Excellent advice above.....i have vurtually quit weed, i smoked it for 13years and it has come about in my iife that i just dont need t or want it during the day, im to busy and need focus and enjoy daily life, however i just cannot sleep without it, I have the most terrible dreams that then haunt my day and its got to the point where im thinking....well i may aswell just have 'that 1' before bed. But that doesnt solve the issue of being at someone elses over night or the parents at crimbo or whatever..i find sex is great for tiring me out but if ya bloke wont put out that night...im screwed..or not! ha ha! Urgh i suppose the best answer is to never start in the first place coz this is torture! Ijust want to sleep!

Hi there mate, god this sounds like me so much...sleep has become a fear for you so now your gonna be anxious even before you have got into bed! i was such an anxious kid, i used to feel like that naturally for years until i knew that it was anxiety, thats what i loved about weed in the first place...it made me sleep and the anxiety go away...13 years later im trying to quit weed. I can go all day wihout smoking which is great but i still crave that one before bed so much.I cant sleep without it and have the worst dreams, that are so real, i sweat and wake up all throughout the night...its horrible...i decided to tell myself...well ive gone from nearly 2-3g per day to 1-2g per week! so i dont drink, i work hard, im a great mother, girlfriend. housewife, mum, maybe we all need a vice. I jst wish i never started in the frst place! it looks to me that most people replace that urge with alcohol or meds....i think one reefa a night is probably the less of the evils........

alot of people are gonna say this a bad way to quit but honestly i couldnt sleep or eat. so throughout the day ill take a couple shots of some vodka or gin. not enough to get drunk but just enough to get a buzz. it will help u sleep and will kind of restore your appetite. im a senior in high school and i just quit a few days ago. i even drink a little in school and it kind of keeps my mind normal. but be careful alcohol addiction is 20X worse than weed adiction
