One of the things I think most people don't realize is that you can't just lose belly fat.  You can weight all over and that's the way you need to lose it.  Now you may have a tendency to gain fat around your waist but it still needs to come off everywhere.  One of the best ways to do this is to do fast paced exercise in repeated units.  For example, jog in place as fast as you can for 2 minutes and then stop.  Then try leg kicks as fast as you can for 2 minutes.  Do some waist bends and twists for 2 minutes as fast as you can etc.  Exercise all parts of the body this way.  You can make up the exercises as you go.  These 2 minute repetitions burn maximum calories rapidly.

There are abdominal exercises geared to tone your tummy. They include crunches, sit-ups, and squats, to name a few. You will have to do this routinely, everyday, to obtain the best results. Cutting back on junk food and eating more fruits and vegetables is good for trimming extra fat from your body as well. Adding cardiovascular exercise will burn the extra calories needed to reduce additional adipose. It will take a lot of time to manage to trim your belly so you will have to stay with it for some time, perhaps 3-6 months. It is why many people abandon trying; they expect immediate results. Hi njeri! There are some things that may help to strengh your abdominal muscles, and make your tummy looks better. First thing is taking a look at your weight and see if you have a normal BMI, if you have overweight you should go on a healthy diet to achieve a normal weight. Togethe with this you should exercise, don't forget that both types of exercise are necessary: aerobic and specific abdominal muscles exercise. You can try and hire a personal trainer who can help you do the right workouts/exercises to get rid of your tummy fats. They can also help you have a meal or diet plan along with your workout plan to get positive results. There are online personal trainers too or online workout home guide that can help you with what you wanted to achieve.
