Now my boyfriend and I are trying to have a child, last week two days before my period we started trying and on my last few days of my period we had sex and we still are. now I feel very tired all the time, feeling lazy and sick. I am now having heart burn also. Can I be pregnant even if its only been a week or is it all in my head, or is it still to early to tell?
Hi Hon: Yes its too early for symptoms, actually one of the 1st signs of pregnancy is sore breasts and darkening and enlarging of your aerolas! Followed by back ache, groin and hip pain, and then nausea headaches etc. That's why many women think their period is coming on. So you will have to wait a few more weeks I'm afraid, and remember to take your folic acid everyday - there is even new evidence that it can help you become pregnant!!! You aren't really describing any symptoms of pregnancy and it seems too early to tell one way or the other. What I would recommend doing is trying a pregnancy test in a week just to be sure but it seems pretty unlikely that you are pregnant at this point. What are you and your boyfriend doing to help conceive? Keep us posted!
