I had diahrea for 6 months, nausea and vommiting, lost 30 lbs. Endoscopy showed nothing but I had some lactose breath test and it showed I had a bacterial overgrowth in my stomach. A month worth of strong antibiotics and it was gone.

Dare I say this but it could also be the result of Spiritual growth as I have experienced this and I too went to doctors and they too found nothing wrong. Which can drive you absolutely crazy.

Found this looking to find some answers for my own symptoms which are very similar. I've always gotten gnawing/burning stomach aches from very acidic foods to fried eggs, but in the past year it has gotten much worse. I went from eating almost anything to one day having the pain be so bad I vomitted. This happened to me several days in a row for about 2 weeks before I figured out that if I didn't eat any meat I was okay. I'm talking even boiled chicken.

I've also had everything from being tested for H. Pylori and ulcers, to having 2 ultrasounds and 1 endoscopy which both had negative results for gallstones. I was tested for food allergies and nothing. I am having a CT scan in a few days.

Originally I was told it might be an intolerance due to stress, but I've tried yoga and taking it easy and still no help. I also don't know how one is not supposed to be stressed when eating causes us to be in agony for hours!

It sounds like I'm not alone and a lot of us have this mysterious illness. Please post if you find an answer.

I have a lot of the same symptoms and I have been diagnosed with gastroperisis. It's a paralysis of my stomach muscles. So basically my stomach is not breaking down the food fast enough and the food is rotting before it reaches my small intestine. It is treatable and not always known what it is caused from.

My wife turned 23 today and she has been dealing with the exact same symptoms. These symptoms have been on going and worsening since I met her 5 yeats ago. They started to get worse afyer the birth of our first daughter who is almost 4. Her symptoms took a real bad turn afyer the births of our second daughter who is almost 3. In the first 2 years of after Brooklyn, it seemed like every week we had to go to the doctors. We hopped around to nine different doctors to include an Oncologist who did a POT scan for leukemia that showed several growths but none big enough to be worried about (doctors words not mine). She was seeing this Quick of a doctor who believed in natural healing and some other stuff. He tested her for Lupus, IBS, fibromyalgia, cystic fibrosis And wanted to test her for MS as well. She has also been to the gastrologist and has had an upper GI, colonoscopy in a lower GI. they found polyps but they were removed. they diagnosed her with irritable bowel syndrome. she got into a very big depression where she didn't want to leave the house go anywhere do anything because of the fact that she was worried of how she was going to feel in the pain that was being resignated from her abdomen. she hasn't been to a doctor in almost a year and she's finally going back because after a couple trips to the emergency room in being diagnosed there with Crohn's disease she finally wants to figure out what is wrong to see if now we can't get any answers. I was wondering if you have received any answers from your wife's doctors and if so how should I go about myself with my wifes doctors.

To go along with the previous reply. My wife also suffers from severe anemia. She showed every sign of leukemia except for actual leukemia. She has swollen lymph nodes all over her body that cause pain mostly an Arab women and in her hips. She gets these weird chest pains on the side of her ribs that go all the way to her back and all the way back to the front. Her stomach problems started from the bottom of her esophagus and top of stomach and goes all the way down to your belly button now. She was diagnosed Peptic ulcer disease asophogitis and gastritis
And has had meds for it all. She has has several xrays on her gal bladder and all have come back normal.

Sounds like a good idea, I have been tested like the rest of you but they can't find anything wrong. If they felt like we do they just may find something to help because when this happens to me I get so weak I can barely stand up.

Gastroparesis can cause painful spasming of the stomach wall. It also cam cause additional acid and lead to hiatus hernia and disruption of normal gut flora. Blood sugar levels can be all over the place amd make a person very ill. Have you had your stomach checked to see how slowly it is emptying. Chronic gastroparesis can cause the nerve to stop working completely and means being fed through a tube directly into the intestine so if you haven't yet been checked for this specific condition, you should ask to be .

I don't know if this will help anyone, but my daughter started experiencing pain on right side. Over the course of three years had 3 colonoscopies and 2 endoscopies. Found a few pin size ulders in small intestine but said didn't know what they were from. Then took her to Mayo Clinic they ran every test again and then did camera pill which found out she had Chrons Disease. So without camera pill would still be looking for reason for pain and burning on right side.

Hi All, I was wondering if any of you have been tested for having not enough stomach acid? I'm seeing a new specialist next week and after researching, I think I may have Hypochlorhydria, which is not enough acid. Apparently this is very common and often overlooked. Doctor's always assume you have too much acid and tell you to take acid blockers which make things worse. I personally have the burning/gnawing stomach pain after eating things that are hard to digest such as meats (any kind), quinoa, etc. The hard the food is to digest the more the stomach has to work to break it down and if you don't have enough acid that's when the pain and sometimes vomiting occur. I've had everything from ultrasounds to an endoscopy and have been told nothing is abnormal. I'm going to give this a shot with the new doctor and see if they can test me. It sounds like an easy treatment of supplements so I'm hoping this is it. Just wondering if anyone else has thought of this already.

I am having the same problems. Mine makes me weak, as if my breath is seizing. It's been on for more than two years now. I have done several test and scans. It comes and goes. I am just trusting God for healing.
