I am a 25 year old female, and I had a baby 3 months ago. Ever since I had my son my stomach has been so messed up. It's to the point of no matter what I eat I always have an upset stomach afterwards. Once my stomach starts to hurt it feel like someone is just pulling my stomach into nots. I don't know if this is to be expected or if I should see a doctor.
Hi There,
I would suggest visiting your doctor and discussing the issue. You did not specify whether you had a c-section or vaginal birth, each can cause varying symptoms. However, three months after the fact you really should have this looked at by a doctor.

Did you ever figure out what was wrong? I'm having the same problem and I went to the doctor and he had no clue. He's running some tests.
I am having the same problems too and its gone on for almost two years straight... I have been on everything from depression pills to fiber. It really sucks... anyone know what's going on? I have had tubes down my throat and xrays... I've been told I have a heart condition (which wasn't true) and I have had my liver tested and everything. I really need to know if anyone else had sick symptoms after having a baby and got them treated because I don't know how much longer I can stand this...
Hi I am having the same thing. I'm 10 post birth and doesn't matter what i eat it happens regardless. Tmi sorry, very liquid and sometimes comes on so quickly I need to run for the bathroom
I had my daughter 4 months ago and i'm having the same issues. I had an ultrasound done to see what was going on and nothing showed up but other than that no other tests. I had extreme back and stomach pain to the point where I went to the E.R. but they chaulked it up to a stomach ulcer after running no tests. I don't think that's what it is. Did anybody else figure out what was wrong?
I had my child 16 months ago and I am still experiencing this. Its really annoying. Before having my child I had what my family called an "Iron Stomach". I very rarely got an upset stomach/intestines of any kind. Now its totally different. I can eat something that I never have had problems with and now it can cause me to go running to the bathroom. I have heard from someone that its because after having a baby your body's chemicals/hormone levels can change and cause your body to react differently to the things you put into it(i.e.food,drink) and the environment around it. I am not a doctor or a nurse so I do not know if this is true or not. I plan on asking my doctor the next time I see him, IF I can remember to that is =) Anyone else have this strange phenomena happen to them? Did you go to the doctor for it? What was the diagnosis of your problem? I hope to figure this out some day. Who knows if the chemical/hormone level thing that I heard of is true maybe they will go back to normal after a while? Lets hope so! I miss having an "Iron Stomach"
Had a son 6 yrs ago and had this problem for 2 - 2 1/2 yrs then it went away and I was fine. Now after having my daughter (11/22/13) it's back and idk what to do about it. Gonna speak with my dr tomorrow. With my son they removed my gallbladder and it didn't help whatsoever. Hope it doesn't last long.
I have the same problem . I don't have much of an apitie any more and my stomach just randomly hurts out pf no where. I had my son almost 4 months ago.
Sounds like ibs
Sounds like ibs. Ever find out?
Did you ever find out what the issue was? I am experiencing the exact same thing. Iron stomach before baby and terrible stomach issues after delivery (5 months now). Any advice would be great!
I had my daughter 3 months ago and also having the same issue. I had my blood tested and they think it's to do with my liver. Anyone have any advice??
You all probably have sour stomachs.. from your PH balance being off.. try lemon water in the morning on empty stomach and wait an hour to eat anything, if your stomach gets upset glass of water with baking soda 1/2 tsp. Avoid sugar !
That's not true. If our ph balance was off we would complain about vagina issues as well as other issues. Also I don't eat sweets so that's not the problem either
