Very first signs of a UTI I can tell when one is coming. I immediately called the doc and did a urine sample. It came back negative. Since I worry about what is going on down there, I looked in a mirror and saw a pimple like lump and two smaller lesions in the pubic hair area. One was located on the outer lip and the two others were located further at the bottom but outside the lip area. The two lesions were near each other but not directly touching. The one on the outer labia resembled more like an ingrown hair. I went to the doctor and he did a sample to test for herpes but the results are back yet. He gave me herpes oral medication just as a precaution.
Honestly if I wasn't such a hypochondriac and looked I would have never known they were even there.
During the visit he also examined inside me and said the discharge looked clear so he didn't think I had any bacteria or yeast. Using the device they use to go inside you I could tell my vagina was tender from that insertion, mainly on my right side.
Later that same evening my pain during urination was worse. It was coming directly from the urethra not as a result of touching any sores. I called the doctor back who prescribed antibiotics and those have helped right away.
I continued to take the antibiotics and the herpes medication. I also decided to look at my vagina again and noticed a very small round sore at the base of the opening of the labia on the lower right side. It is very hard to look and see as it is almost the same color as the skin; is not really raised and does not look filled with pus. However it is tender to the touch. It looks slightly red a lesion but doesn't seem to have any white or center. I have looked online and I thought maybe it's a cyst but it's not hard or filled really with anything. The doctor hasn't examined this sore because it wasn't there when I went to my appt before.
I tried to masturbate and inserting anything seems to hurt where that sore is as it's right next to the opening. It also still feels like there is a cut inside my vagina itself in the wall or something.
As far as discharge, I have noticed some more white discharge in the past day but nothing too extreme. I don't have any itching. I rarely get yeast infections, but I have had Bacterial Vaginosis a few times, but it doesn't usually have a same symptoms as this with any sore. I have had vaginal cuts in the past due to BV but they looked like paper cuts not something that appeared roundish.
I don't have any other symptoms. No cold sores in mouth, no fever, no chills or anything.
It is Saturday so I have to wait until Monday to find out the results.
In the meantime, does anyone have any idea what this could be?
