My vagina is swollen and has white inside. My boyfriend and I were fooling around we never had sex. Neither of us have any diseases what is wrong with me?!?!
What you describe happening to you can be blamed on yeast infection. Yeast infection is caused by fungus Candida albicans, and the most common types of infections are superficial infections of skin and mucosal membranes (like in mouth or vagina) and it is usually detected by local inflammation and discomfort, like the ones you experienced. You don’t have to have sex to get yeast infection. It can be transferred from something or someone, or it can come if your genital region is exposed to moisture, like when you don’t completely dry yourself after bathing. Over-the-counter topical cream for yeast infections should clear this up.

Well, maybe it is not a yeast infection. It can be, but a lot of people do blame yeast infection as soon as they notice white substance inside the vagina. Sometimes, girls are perfectly healthy and sometimes something else is wrong. I was diagnosed with vulvovaginitis - swelling or infection of the vulva and vagina. The cause of this was a yeast infection but my doctor explained to me that some other things can be the reason, too. Anyway, you should know that our vagina normally contains both healthy bacteria and unhealthy bacteria and this type of infection happens when more unhealthy bacteria than healthy bacteria grow.
