My rash is reddish and itches all the time. Sometimes if I sit for a long period of time (i.e. traveling) it will get a white coating to it and itch even more. This has been going on for the better part of two years. I use a hydrocortisone cream for the itch but I really want a cure. The doctor told me it was a yeast infection at first then herpes but I have been with only one man for the past 35 years and we have been faithful so I don't see how it could be an std. Any help would be appreciated.3
Visit your local sexual health centre - they're specialists in this area. They'll take a painless swab of the rash to test what it is.
It could be a fungal infection, or eczema (which sometimes blisters on some people), or something else entirely. Clearing up fungal rashes or eczema in this area can be a slow process, but see the specialists first for a definitive diagnosis. They will then be able to point you in the direction of the best remedy, either orthodox medical or natural.
Good luck!
