I've had the same issue for over a year now. Plus I get small fissures near my labia that makes everything painful. The only thing that helps me is taking a probiotic consistently. Specifically vh essentials probiotic, I think it has cranberry in it. They sell it at walmart, target etc. It's cheaper than similar brands I've tried. I take 2 capsules daily, 3 the week prior to my cycle. I've been inconsistent lately, but this is the first time in months I've had the issue again. It works, just needs to be a habit!

I have had extreme burning, not UTI, for about 10 months now. I do get UTIs every couple of months. The burning in between each of them is different. No yeast infection. No STD. No hormonal imbalance. Nothing!!! No gyno, No urologist NO family doctor has any clue... They just send me away and say come back in a month!!! No treatment, no suggestions... Frustration is beyond belief now.
I spend my life with frozen water bottles! Yep my life officially sucks!

Hi, I was wondering if you ever found anything out on your symptoms. I am 49 and about 4 months ago this started. About a week before my period my vagina starts burning and itching, when I pee it burns so bad, it's feels like I have tiny paper cuts down there. So now I lean forward to pee but when the toilet paper touchs my vagina. I'm at a loss. I'm married, no stds. I'm wondering if I'm allergic to something or r my hormones changing?

Have you had you A1C checked My doctor tells me that when my sugar is high this is how my body tries to get rid of the excess through urination. In turn this makes me burn and itch I understand the water bottles.

Hi I have just read your post and I have your symptoms. I have vulvodynia. It might be useful to Google this and see if you see any similarities. I had burning off and on for a few years then on the second day of my period two years ago bam the pain never left. I now take medication for the pain . Its better to get an early diagnosis if you can. Good luck xx

Please Google vulvodynia. Its not very well known but so many women actually suffer from it, me being one of them. There are support groups on Facebook where women discuss all the symptoms you are suffering from. Hope this is of some help and I hope you find answers for this awful condition you are experiencing, good luck xx

It's called PBS (painful bladder syndrome) it's due to the hormone change in the body before to period starts. I suffer from this & ended up being seen by a kidney specialist before being correctly diagnosed correctly. The types of food you eat can & will make it worse (well for me anyway) spicy foods make it HORRIBLE for me. Hope this helps!

My doctor said the same thing,she say some women bodies go through many changes. I'm 44 but my sister don't experience it before her period. Mines started bout 3 years ago

Hey i have been pretty exited because i had been hoping for my period to start and this is kind of embarrassing but i wanted to know if anyone knew if i might be starting to start my cycle. I have a slight burning sensation in my vagina and lower stomach pains right under where my belly button is. Am i starting and should i be concerned?
Btw im 13 so im a little worried and need some advice

Hi there. What was your outcome? My period is due tomorrow (17February) I felt a burning sensation when I peed and also have a cramping sensation bellow my belly button. Were you fine after experiencing this? Lots of love.

I get this and I was told it was insulated releasing the ought your Virginia walls . MetForman helps . I'm also borderline diabetic :(

I went to my Dr. Had ultra sound blood work the works all fine. I'm 43 this just started happening and what I do I use plain yogurt put inside and that takes away the problem, sometimes I may take some motrin and takes away that inflamed feeling. Hope it works for you.
