I am pretty sure we're all dealing with an systemic candida overgrowth problem and they only way to resolve is to get our gut flora in check. I'm working on this and I will definitely keep you all on posted on any positive results.

It’s called (RAW PROBIOTICS VAGINAL CARE) it’s about 50 a bottle and you can find it at whole foods or just about any vitamin store. It’ll be in the cold probiotics section. Look up the reviews on Amazon, they are amazing!

I have had this issue for over 4 years. Like many of you I test negative for everything, I've been to the doctor endless times, I have spend hours upon hours researching, have tried a million possible solutions and believe it's CV. I also have followed this board for a couple of years at least.
I use a baking soda sitz bath and take calcium/mag every day for maintenance. And although it is helpful, it doesn't get you back to 100%...as you probably know.
So, last fall I was on vacation in Mexico with my man and to my surprise, my vagina had no issues that week. For the first time in years, things felt normal! It was amazing, sex every day and I stayed lubricated, just like the good ole days.
Of course, I got back from vacation and my vagina issues returned. I racked my brain to try to figure out what I did different that week. I had been on several Mexico vacations over the last few years so it wasn't an environmental thing. I could not figure out what made such a dramatic change in my body that week.
I pretty much gave up trying to figure it out but randomly this week it hit me. Okay, I know this is going to sound crazy, but the difference is that I drank margaritas all week. I never drink margaritas, never drink tequila...but for some reason on this vacation, it sounded good. I thought to myself, "this can't be it, this is crazy". But then I started googling the health benefits of tequila...and guess what, there are health benefits to tequila. Who knew? And those benefits have to do with prebiotics and probiotics and calcium absorption.
So, for the first time since vacation I had a drink of tequila at lunch and sure enough my vagina was totally affected! Lubricated and slippery and I had sex with my man that night and it was just like vacation.
I know this sounds crazy, right?
If you are willing to try this, please let me know your results. In the meantime, I will be looking into an alternative way to get these health benefits in a nonalcoholic way.
By the way, I have tried all the expensive probiotics out there...you know the super expensive ones that are refrigerated at the health food store, including the one specifically for vaginal health...didn't work for me at all. Mentioning this because I'm sure some people will say, "just take a probiotic"...tried that...doesn't work!
I do not think the type of the tequila matters. On vacation I went to many different restaurants and I'm sure I was drinking many different types of tequila.
Like I said, I know it sounds crazy, but if you are willing to try this, let me know your results. TY!

Hi Phoebe,
I'm 100% sure that you and I have the exact same thing. I've had it for 10 months now. I'm going crazy. Thick pasty white discharge, redness, irritation, inflammation, burning, painful urination. I always felt like this discharge is what is burning my mucous membranes down there and vaginally. It started 2 weeks after sex and one week after oral with a new person. I never had further contact after that. I think it was from the oral. I feel like his saliva smelled weird. Symptoms came on suddenly. I felt a small itch up inside, but didn't think much of it. The next day I was walking around outside a lot and I felt unusually moist down there and like the labia were getting inflamed. When I got home, I saw everything red and irritated with this white pasty discharge everywhere. The irritation only stays inside the inner labia area. I've taken Diflucan, Flagyl, Ciproxin, Doxycycline & Penicillin, in that order. Nothing helped. I've been to 3 doctors and tons of tests. All tests negative for aerobic & anaerobic bacteria, yeast, strep A & B, staph, Mycoplasma/Ureaplasma and all STDs including HSV2 (i've had cold sores since i was a kid, so HSV1 has always been positive).
I've spent hours and hours reading and researching and am even planning to create a website for this, since during my research I saw that so many other women were suffering with this same problem and with no cure. The issue is that we can't find a cure if we don't know what caused it. There HAS to be a common denominator among all of us. But most posters here are not giving details as to how it started, only their symptoms. I've never had any problems with my vagina in my life. No yeast infections and no UTIs. So this is very annual for me. Something is definitely wrong. Maybe Cytolytic Vaginosis or some unknown bacteria or organism. I think CV or inflammatory vaginosis is just the symptom of the underlying cause, not the disease itself. I'm ready to order a microscope and possibly go to medical school because of the frustration over this. Please reply if you can. I'm sure there is something in common that will help us pinpoint exactly how this happened, and ultimately come to a conclusion of what it is. Thank you!

PS. Maybe this type of bacteria we have cannot be cultured. Maybe it can only be found with the PCR method of testing.

Penicillin will promote yeast to grow because it will kill off the natural bacteria that keeps the yeast under control.

Are you still feeling good after the tequila? I was thinking maybe it could have been something else too, like a change in the toilet paper, water, or lower stress level since you were on vacation, or maybe a food you weren't eating anymore. Let me know about your conclusions! Thanks!
