Hello! About a month ago, ever since I had sex fro the first time I have been experiencing strange twitching of the vagina. So, this is the first time I have experienced this discomfort. I talked to my girlfriends and none of them has ever heard of it or experienced it. Is there anybody who can relate to this? Could something have gone wrong during the intercourse. Please, any suggestion would be welcome! I am 17 by the way.
Hi there! To be honest I have never heard of vaginal twitching either, but I suppose this is a good opportunity to go to a gyno and have your self checked, not just because of the twitching but to check your health, maybe even discuss contraception.
twitching is normal, it happens to me the frist time i had sex with my boyfirend. Your virgina area is just shocked, and it the frist time your virgina felt it, it will get use to it, and there will be no more twitching.
Yeah the same thing happened to me when I had sex for the first time, nothing to be worried about.
hi i have the same twitching and there is nothing to worry about. there is a lack of something in you diet. probably iron or a vitamin. i know if feels strange but it is a nice feeling. nothing as gone wrong during sex its just you muscles twitching just as your eye may twitch sometimes.
I've had lots of sex before, but this just started happening randomly. So it's not anything bad? I sort of searched this topic up on goggle, and got slightly scared when I saw Pregnancy in the header.
It happens to me as well. If my boyfriend makes me really randy, my back arches and my vagina twitches. I've always thought it was just me wanting to have sex..
hey dont worry..my vagina twitches and i havnt even had sex! o.O its just the muscles tightening up. it perfectly normal..ive even read on a couple of other websites that its normal too. STAY STRONG MY FRIEND! :-P
I have an issue that seems similar, but the feeling I have is anything but nice! I am a virgin but I ride horses and I get this feeling when I ride sometimes, I guess when I come in contact in the saddle a certain way. It sends a horrendous tingling, twitching sensation through my crotch and I have to IMMEDIATELY stand up in my stirrups and halt my horse. I feel the need (when no one else is around) to grab my crotch to put pressure on it in attempts to force the feeling to go away. When I get a bad episode I think that if it doesn't stop right that very second that I just don't know how I am going to survive. That is how horrendous the feeling is.
Once I have an episode I usually am forced to quit riding for the day b/c once it's 'activated' it will very easily happen again and I just can't take that feeling? Anyone ever experience this? Any way to stop it?
As a virgin I really don't want to have to see a doctor about this and have some stranger groping about down there but I am getting to the point where I can not take it anymore.

By the way, after I have a bad episode that area also seems to pulse, like what would happen when you get an injury and can feel the blood pulsing in that area.
one more reply since I don't know how to edit.
I just wanted to say that there is NO pain at all involved in these episodes, only the horrid feeling

Your body is obviously lacking Magnesium. I get the twitching and irratation a few days after heavy exercise. The more you sweat the higher the chances are of dehydrating your muscles. Magnesium works as a salt rehyrator for the muscles. Start taking a supplement and see how you go.
Good Luck

It's really annoying though, right after sex it'll just twitch and it's annoying. Dumb question but is there a way to stop it?
I totally understand. I get that feeling almost everyday and I am also a virgin. It's the most uncomfortable feeling in the world. It makes me question how long I can take it. I did go to the gyno for that situation. She just said that it's the cause of being super sensitive down there. But my feeling usually occurs after I use the bathroom. I get the uncomfortable pulse, throbbing sensation and I feel as if I can't make it through the day.
ya my twiched my fisrt time too!
