I had the same symptoms, vertigo caused by sinus congestion. It was really bad when I would tilt my head back or to the side, almost to the point of falling over... I met a doctor out here on Vancouver Island that prescribed me raw medical cannabis, aka the juice from the marijuana plant. Turns out this is the best natural anti inflammatory drug on the planet. What I am doing is juicing the female marijuana plants and mixing the pure juice 50/50 with fruit juice and freezing it in ice cube trays. Every morning I make a smoothie for breakfast with my marijuana plant juice and protein powder. After just 3 days of drinking this juice from the marijuana plant I had no more episodes of vertigo, no more headaches in the middle of the night and I actually feel much better all around. It sounds crazy but it works and because you are not smoking the marijuana you do not get any high or euphoric feeling. Essentially you are just drinking juice, it's bitter if you drink it straight kind of like wheat grass. Anyways, I got a government issued license to grow medical marijuana plants and bought an amazing led grow light from

called the magnum plus2 and I have been growing my free vertigo medicine. Every day I juice a plant and every day I plant a plant. I have 25 plants in total and this is the best thing that I could have hoped for :) I hope you have a look into this as it really works. there are countless videos on youtube that go into detail on the medical benefits of juicing medical marijuana. I hope this helps you out  :)

Can Sinusitis be Helped with Cannabinoids?

"A survivor of lupus, rheumatoid arthritis, endometriosis, interstitial cystitis, hypoglycemia, anemia, chronic sinusitis, chronic bacterial infections, and other serious ailments, Kristen Peskuski has come to believe that what she really suffered from was cannabinoid deficiency disorder--- and that drinking raw cannabis juice saved her live."

Do you suffer from chronic sinus attacks?  Medical marijuana has been proven to be beneficial in many disorders.  Now research has also shown that cannabinoids are also powerful and highly-effective antibiotics that could be the key to stopping antibiotic-resistant bacteria, such as those found in chronic sinusitis.  Medical marijuana could help sufferers of sinusitis fight off infections that do not respond to antibiotics.Researchers and drug makers are in the process of developing and testing antibiotic drugs made from cannabinoids to treat infections. They have been testing non-psychoactive compounds, like cannabichromene, cannabigerol, and cannabidiol, as well as the psychotropic tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), for their anti-bacterial properties.Sinusitis is caused by infection and inflammation of the sinuses.  It can cause breathing difficulties, and make your life miserable.  Symptoms include a headache when you wake up in the morning, pain when the forehead is touched, heaviness in the head, coughing, sneezing, nasal congestion and a tired, achy feeling, that resembles a cold. However, cold treatments do not help sinusitis.  Until a cannabinoid drug is available to treat infections, sufferers could benefit from cautiously using natural cannabis to treat sinusitis.  Cannabinoids have been shown to produce an anti-inflammatory effect.Cannabinoids also have anti -microbial properties.

Cannabis vaporization limits respiratory toxins by heating cannabis to a temperature where cannabinoid vapors form (typically around 180-190 degrees Celsius),  but below the point of combustion where smokeand associated toxins (e.g., carcinogenic hydrocarbons) are produced (near 230 degrees Celsius).  This eliminates the inhalation of any particulate matter and removes the health hazards of smoking.  In clinical trials, vaporization has shown to safely and effectively deliver pharmacologicallly active, aerosolized cannabinoids deeply into the lungs, where the rich vascular bed will rapidly deliver them to tissues.

How can one herb help so many different conditions?  How can it provide both palliative and curative actions?  How can it be so safe while offering such powerful effects?  The search to answer these questions has led scientists to the discovery of a previously unknown physiologic system, a central component of the health andhealing of every human and almost every animal:  the endocannabinoid system. The endogenous cannabinoid system, named after the plant that led to its discovery, is perhaps the most important physiologic system involved in establishing and maintaining human health.  Endocannabinoids and their receptors are found throughout the body: in the brain, organs, connective tissues, glands, and immune cells.  In each tissue, the cannabinoid system performs different tasks, but the goal is always the same:  homeostasis, the maintenance of a stable internal environment despite fluctuations in the external environment.  Cannabinoids promote homeostasis.  Endocannabinoids and cannabinoids are also found at the intersection of the body's various systems, allowing communication and coordination between different cell types.  At the site of an injury, for example, cannabinoids can be found decreasing the release of activators and sensitizers from the injured tissue, stabilizing the nerve cell to prevent excessive firing, and calming nearby immune cells to prevent release of pro-inflammatory substances.  Three different mechanisms of action on three different cell types for a single purpose:  minimize the pain and damage caused by the injury or disease.

The endocannabinoid system, with its complex actions in our immune system, nervous system, and all of the body's organs, is literally a bridge between body and mind.  By understanding this system  we begin to see a mechanism that explains how states of consciousness can promote health or disease.

In addition to regulating our internal and cellular homeostasis, cannabinoids influence a person's relationship with the external environment.  Socially, the administration of cannabinoids clearly alters human behavior, often promoting sharing, humor, and creativity.  By mediating neurogenesis, neuronal plasticity, and learning, cannabinoids may directly influence a person's open-mindedness and ability to move beyond limiting patterns of thought and behavior from past situations.  Reformatting these old patterns is an essential part of health in our quickly changing environment.

Small, regular doses of marijuana might act as a tonic to our most central physiologic healing system.

Unlike synthetic derivatives, herbal marijuana may contain over one hundred different cannabinoids, including THC, which all work synergistically to produce better medical effects and less side effects than THC alone.

Sinusitis is an inflammation of nasal passages which causes pain and pressure around forehead, eyes ad cheeks.  If proper prevention is taken, sinuses can be cured easily which will gradually minimize the sinus attacks.

More good news about cannabis. People suffering from intense vertigo and nausea due to an inner ear problem — a condition of unknown cause and limited susceptibility to conventional medical treatment called Ménière’s disease — find significant improvement from cannabis, according to California doctors.

California doctors routinely approve the use of cannabis by Meniere’s patients who say that it helps ease their symptoms. “Meniere’s causes dizziness, dizziness causes nausea, cannabis relieves nausea,” says David Bearman, MD. “I wouldn’t be surprised if the symptoms caused Mrs. Gee to be a little depressed and of course cannabis helps that, too.”

Robert Sullivan, MD, corroborates: “I’ve issued many recommendations for Meneire’s, as well as tinnitus [ringing in the ears]. It works well enough to make a significant improvement in patients’ lives, i.e., symptoms not gone but much abated so they can function and carry on their daily activities, instead of sitting and suffering. It also aids sleep.”

R. Stephen Ellis, MD, has given some thought to how cannabis might help in the treatment of Meniere’s. “Three possible mechanisms come to mind,” he says. “Number one, the anti-anxiety effect of cannabis would be very useful to a Meniere’s patient. These people are anxious as can be when they hit the ER. When they get an attack it’s as if they are wired — that’s why Ativan is one of the treatments, to bring them down. Two would be the anti-nausea effect. Duh! You’re barfing and there’s a drug that offers relief in 10 seconds. The third is slowing down the vertigo itself — the sensation of spinning caused by the inner ear problem. My patients say cannabis is as good as Benadryl, which is the classic treatment. I recall reading that the auditory nerve does have CB1 receptors. I don’t know about the cochlear structure itself.”

I am having the same issues. My MRI showed chroinc mild sinusitis. My Dr. said that the inflammation is putting pressure on the structures in my ear and causing the dizziness. And I may have had a bad virus that caused some damage to the vestibular nerves. He gave me some exercises to do for the dizziness, to retrain my vestibular system and I have been on predinsone which helps while im on it and then as soon as i go off it is comes right back. And I cant be on predinsone(steriod)all the time because it is starting to cause side effects. I am very fustrated. I cant stand the dizziness anymore. Have you found any solutions? I have another apt with my ENT specialist next week. We will have to see what he has to say this time.

I suggest trying accupuncture and Chinese herbs.  It may take several visits.  This has been the only remedy that has given me relief from vertigo.  It's truly amazing.

Thank you, nice to hear from someone with the hypothyroid issue as well as all this other stuff . l have not thought of allergies being part of my problem, its more weather changes that affect me and cause flareups. l recently have had some success with a natural enzyme product ' mucostop' contains Mucolase enzyme. l will get back to the saline nasal washes, cut down on milk and drink more water. thank you for these reminders. Sometimes you just don't know how to describe the symptoms to anyone and can find it scarey imagining all sorts of things it might be.

Has he had a doctor perform the Epleys maneuver and repeat at home? Also, over the counter anti vert (motion sickess tabs) and sudafed may help. I woke to intense vertigo one night ago and already feel 80% better. When I do Epleys, I can tell its pressure in one ear. The maneuver recreates vertigo but it lessens each time. I avoid sleeping on that side to avoid triggering it again.

I had what I thought was the first bout of Vertigo nearly 2 years ago. It was just dreadful. 12 days unable to walk, chronic nausea and vomiting. It was unbearable and at day 12 I started to wonder if I was ever going to get better. The morning it started, I simply woke up and rolled over in bed, and everything started to spin uncontrollably. I started to be sick. I started to panic. My husband rushed me to the doctor who performed a serious of tests, moving my head around whilst I was lying down. I just kept getting sick and the more things were spinning, the sicker I got.. Luckily I was seen within 24 hours by a specialist physio who deals with BPPV and the diagnosis was given. Over the pursuing days I saw him about 6 or 7 times. Each time having the Epley Maneuver performed and each time coming away vomiting and my head spinning even more. There was no way I was going to be able to perform this at home on my own. It was clear I would need assistance. I was told I had the problem in both ears, so each time the Maneuver was performed it would affect the opposite ear and I would be violently ill..Ghastly!!! Anyway, moving forward 18 months on and I have just had the second bout of extreme vertigo. I was able to differentiate this time to the last, and knew that it only appeared to be in one ear. I was able to perform the EM unaided at home and have not had the vomiting. The associated nausea was still there. This time it passed in about 6 days. When I think back, I clearly remember the build up to the first attack. Regular dizzy spells that I always put down to getting out of bed too quickly or just being exhausted from work. The attacks were short and not violent and would pass within a few minutes each time. I didn't think much of it. So fast forward to discussions with anaesthetist for dental procedure coming up. In a nutshell he told me that he does not believe this to be BPPV at all and suggested I see an ENT and have an MRI. Immediately. Now I'm scared.

Dizziness, shortness of breath,, wheezing, light sensitivity head pressure ear senstivity can be caused by sinus infection and which can put pressure on the nerve in your ears, eyes neck etc which may even cause slurred speech so many doctor do not know that piece of information. . Anyhow I had a fungal infections in my sinuses the MD put me on fungal spray an ordered MRI for sinuses and face . MY ND told me stop Salt which causes 75 % of dizziness and told me to get on a strict diet of simple food to make sure it isn't allergies she told me to monitor my blood pressure she also put me on natural thyroid medication and taught me something that is very cool . Take a Neti pot with sterlized water mix with 1/4 tsp sea salt and baking soda, couple drops of Iodine and 1 drop of peppermint oil this and close one nostril breath in through the other until the mixture comes through the back of the throat spit it out and do this every 20 minutes for few hours to kill and/or interrupt the life cycle of the fungus and also it is good to hang your head down off the side of bed and gently roll head to one side than the other to get into the sinus cavitires I had  AMAZING positive  RESULTS. The other thing we discovered around the same time was crack in the ceiling sheetrock apparently since the house was build 5 years ago we must of had a quiet hidden leak . The specialist arrived with like the hazmat suits tht is a scary sight to see when you living in a newer home. They found  mold in the insulation ...and sheet rock they sent it to the lab for identification.   They told e that there are so many people that get really sick ( respiratory issues, dizziness sinuses issues rashes nausea headaches dry red itchy  eyes  from  mold exposure and    can be fatal see mold spores being circulated in the house may be invisible one person gets deathly ill and the other person might not . We were told to move out of the house 1 for few weeks while reconstructing the house and we are getting tested my toxicologiist  type of MD for mycoptoxins from mold

.Next test was an  MRI  head and cervical spine revealed a compressed nerve. Saw two doctors one order a Cortistone shot, the other a nerve test . My primary  MD told me to wait and see .... I went to Chiropractor who order a few deep tissue massage this helped a lot with decompressing the nerve.  What is insane about medicine is that the answer depends all on who you ask if you ask the wrong doctor you get the wrong answer or no answer and if you ask the right doctor well mighy be on your way to a cure!
