Alright, I'm 18, and I've always had bad periods, I had it almost every day for like 3 or 4 months so I was put on Birth Control (Triquilar).
I have been getting ultrasounds every 6 months since then (I was probably 13 or so at the time), and they discoverd a fibroid.
Now, last time I went in, they said it had stopped growing so rapidly.
But this month, I had a very bad cycle. My panties were completely soaked in blood [sorry if too graphic], and it was incredibly heavy, which it never has been like that before. I was spotting for about a day and then it got heavier.
Also, the cramps I had were so bad that I was couch-ridden. I had cried out in pain a few times, which has never happened before.
Now, I started my pill again on Sunday, and Monday I was still cramping (very low and off to the side a bit), and it almost became shooting pains. Tuesday, I still had some cramping.
I'm just wondering if this could be my fibroid growing too fast or if I have another growing in a bad place. I have a doctors appointment, but I'm curious if anybody else has an opinion.
Thanks.
