it sounds like an abscess (I've had 2 MRSA INFECTIONS) and antibiotics are usually prescribed afterwards. If it wad MRSA, (resistant Staph), only certain antibiotics would help, and sometimesa lab has to culture it to see what antibiotic would work best. I kow ir's embarrassing, but do what ya gotta do. I had one carved out of my buttock and one under one arm.

But, ii know with girls, it doesn't have to just be from an std or diabetes. It could also be from wearing underwear that's too tight. So, don't always blame the razors, or the soaps, and such. Start with the basics. The small things. Are your underwear made of synthetic material? There you go. That could be the issue. Try wearing cotton underwear. It let's your pubic area breath without trapping in all the sweat and funk that is there

TWINS?! or nah? ;) Thanks for sharing i feel much more confident my problem is probably that hidradenitis supparativa thing everyone keeps saying, but at very least i know its just a simple pimple/boil not something more incurable

I came across this looking for the same thing on the web...
Harmless Bumps
You can also get bumps in the genital area that are harmless. These include cysts, angiomas, and mollusca.
Cysts are yellowish round lumps under the skin, which feel like a small ball or pebble that can easily be moved around. These may enlarge slightly, but in general stay about the same and do not cause any problems. They are caused usually by blocked hair follicles. No treatment is needed.
Angiomas are small collections of blood vessels and are either bright red or slightly purplish. These do not usually enlarge or bleed. No treatment is needed.
Mollusca are viral in origin and in the genital area are usually sexually-transmitted. Visit the American Academy of Dermatology Web page on Mollusca for more information.
They are usually (multiple) skin colored, tiny (one to two millimeters in size). They will go away with time, but this may take up to three years.

I had my first infected cystic pimple when I was 19. The last one was Dec 2015. I am a 63-year-old woman, and I still refresh one of my meds, in case it happens again. After visiting gynecologists and dermatologists, I finally found a dermatologist who knew exactly would I needed. I was 44.
The first time I had one, I went to a doctor and he lanced and drained it. He said to me that women have told him that it was more painful than having a baby. In the early years, they were all in my pubic area. Until my early 30's I only had one every 2 years or so. When I was around 33, they became a regular monthly occurrence, about midpoint between my periods. They weren't boils, because they would often be in places were there was no hair. I had a couple of boils when I was very young and they had hard heads, Cystic pimple heads are not like boil heads. I determined that they were hormonal. They would come about midway in between my periods.
At the peak, in my early 40's, I counted 9 at one time, some coming or going, three quite large. I had to stay home from work for a few days, because they were agonizing. I finally took 3 prescription painkillers so I could sit in the car and drive to my doctor.
I visited doctors who didn't truly know what to do. I started a new job and confided in a new friend at work, who gave me the name of female dermatologist who my friend was sure could help me. She did.
As I got older, some of the cysts would go away or burst on their own. My doctor told me they should go away when I went through menopause. They didn't completely. When I was in my 50's, they gravitated, first to my breasts, then around my rectum. Since about 2011, they have only come about once a year, usually 2, one starting after another.
The antidote. Since tetracycline gives me yeast infections, she prescribed minocyline and cipro. Minocyline would help, but stubborn ones would still break through. I would take the cipro immediately once I felt that one wasn't going away. When you've had them as long as I and as many, you get a feeling which ones are still going to grow. In the past month, I had 2 that started, but I knew they were not going to get big, and they went away quickly. When I first bought the cipro, it was $6 a pill. After the anthrax scare in 2001, cipro, being the cure for anthrax, was mass produced and now is much cheaper.
Today, cipro is they only med I carry. As it happens infrequently, and I know when it's going to be bad, I can usually take 1 or 2 cipro and that takes care of it.

Hi ive suffered with these type of pimples for many years especially between the ages of 18 to early 40's. My doctor noticed the scarring they left and said they were hormonal pimples. I found they did appear when I was ovulating or when my period was due. There was nothing I could do. Sometimes they got to the size of a 20 cent piece. Be careful when squeezing, if they pop easily its a hormonal pimple but if you squeeze and nothing happens and it stings or hurts it could be an abcess and you must see a doctor and be put on antibiotics. I hope this helps you.

Did you ever find out what your issue was or is my girlfriend has kinda the same thing you described

I know this happened a long time ago but basically it was a pimple. I have had those as well and yes I do pop them. I believe that because it is in that area the puss comes out and the exessive amount of blood. It does feel sore afterwards but gets better by the next day of you took all the puss out. If it stays sore.... sorry to say but you didn't get it all out and you will either have to re-pop it or let it dry on its own but it will keep hurting. I know it sounds nasty but it's the reality of life and how our bodies work.

I did fail to add that of course of it is something all over your private area it can definitely be something else. In grown ha is can happen but if it happens once and you pop it and oops like a pimple. Most likely it's a pimple. Be careful because people can also get staff infections by popping pimples. I believe we as an individual know when there is a red flag with our body and we need to go to the doctor.

If you shave with a razor it could be an ingrown hair. I've had them before from shaving

I have same thing it's useally happening after I fully wax or shaved. Very hard and painful at the beginning but in few weeks time they will ether pop or disappear

Don't try to pop it, it may lead to spars in the place and may look awkward. These pimples may be due to some bacteria infections also.Try to apply neem leaves juice at night before sleep within a week you can see the change...
