Hi guys,
I had a total thyroidectomy March 09, was in surgery for longer than usual but all was sucessful.
I developed a cold about a month later and now 6 weeks since the flu my voice has not come back to normal. I can talk short sentences without an issue, but when it comes to a long conversation my voice is husky and will drop out.
Has anyone experienced this?

I wonder if this may have to do with nerve damage from the surgery.
