I had a hysto July of 2011. After a HORRIBLE recovery and being re admitted because of excessive bleeding I started having this watery fluid come out of my vagina. It feels the way it felt when my water broke during labor (not as much though, jsut a gush). I have had a CT scan with contrast to look for a leak, the dye test where I swallow a pill with dye in it an insert a tampon to see if I have urine on the tampon and an ultrasound. All tests come back normal. I am NOT imagining this. The Dr. did an internal exam and SAW the fluid. He just cant see where it is coming from. It has been a year and I still have to wear a pad. I woke up today totally soaked and it has been gushing all day. I have an appt. with a urologist, but the earliest they could get me in is in Dec. I am over this. It is embarrasing. If I forget to put on a pad, I will leak through my clothes and it looks like I have peed myself. From what my Dr. says, it sounds like my bladder adheared to the vaginal cuff and I have a small leak. Why is it not showing up on the tests. Has this happened to anyone else, and how do they fix it!
I am currently having the same issues for the last 3 months. Hysterectomy was in May. What did you end up having done? Are things better now?
