Hello, and yes I have been experiencing the same issue. I just had the surgery done Dec of 22. And the dryness just started 9 months after the actual surgery. I came across this as I was researching this to find out what could be wrong. Thank you to everyone who commented. Now ik I'm not alone.

Hello. I'm glad you found our discussion helpful and reassuring. It can be comforting to know that you're not alone in experiencing post-surgery dryness issues.

Dryness after surgery can be caused by a variety of factors, including changes in tear production or tear film quality due to the surgical procedure or the use of certain medications during and after surgery. It's important to discuss your symptoms with your healthcare provider, preferably the surgeon who performed the surgery, so they can assess your specific situation and provide appropriate guidance and treatment.

In the meantime, you might consider using artificial tears or lubricating eye drops to help relieve dryness and discomfort. These can often provide temporary relief.

I hope you find a solution to your dryness issue and that your eyes start feeling more comfortable soon. If you have any more questions or need further information, feel free to ask.
